I think it was Nuno’s first game in charge and we played really well with 10 men until we lost at the death.
I reckon Sels would have saved the winning goal.

Decent first two seasons and was invaluable at times as our defenders were dropping like flies.
Unfortunately he added nothing in his final two years here as his legs had clearly gone. Seemed like a nice enough fella but we can't afford to just carry individuals who aren't going to play which is why I was surprised we gave him another year. Unless his agent is Mendes and Nuno made a few quid out of it of course...

Thought he was a good prem defender in his first couple of seasons. Shame about the injuries in the latter two, a likeable player and I wish him well.

Always a good sub, but inclined to agree that not suitable at all as a starter in his last couple of seasons with us. Thoroughly good bloke, and I imagine him to be an important influence in the dressing room.

Probably but we shouldn't be paying a player's salary for someone who's basically good to have around, they should be pushed into the coaching staff.
