Will Whittingham Save Cardiff?

The qustion is in the title of this thread...........

"Will Whittingham Save Cardiff?" - by signing for Forest this week.

Cardiff need to raise £1.3 million or go into administration.

They also owe Sunderland £1.5m for striker Michael Chopra and are likely to face a transfer ban over non-payment.

Chief exec Gethin Jenkins said: "HMRC has launched a petition in the event we don't pay the PAYE bill. We are confident of settling it in the next couple of days."

Does this mean Whittingham plus others will be on the way out within the week?

I hope not.

I'm in two minds. If us getting Whittingham meant Cardiff (aka cheating, whining Welsh tossers) being saved I'm not sure I would like to see us not get him - After all he'd be even less in the clearance sale they'd have to have.

Ideally though we'd get him and it still wouldn't be enought to save the cheating, whining Welsh tossers and they finally get the rewards their playing of the system deserves - that way we get the best of both worlds.

Ha! Stay with us Peter and we go bust, go to Forest and we survive. Do it for the good of the club, Peter... lol

Thing is though, if he then went for cheap other teams who couldn't afford his transfer fee AND wages would then be possibly interested. If they then have to pay less transfer fee is it possible they could then offer him more money a week ?

Now if a club knows that a club is up to its eyeballs in debt and on the verge of collapse I'm sure thye would wait as long as possible to get the player at a even more knock down fee of even a free if they did go bust.

Knowing Cardiff, they'll keep him, get out of trouble, and somehow manage to sign Craig Bellamy on loan, and still fail to get promoted.

Before next year's meeting with the tax man, where the same old rubbish gets repeated again and again...

They turned down a £1.75 million bid from Burnley didn't they?

How the f*** are they allowed to do that? A reasonable bid while they owe all this money and they don't take it.

Cheating f***ers.

Nah the couple of million they'll get from selling Ledley to Stoke will pay the Chopra fee.
