From the WBA website:

ALBION remain confident tonight's Hawthorns clash with promotion-rivals Nottingham Forest (ko 7.45pm) will go ahead.

The Hawthorns was subjected to further sub-zero temperatures overnight but the under-soil heating should make the pitch playable.

The club are once again hiring snow ploughs, gritters and extra manpower to clear the snow and ice from the stadium and all areas they are responsible for.

However, all of the above information is subject to any deterioration in the weather and we will make a further announcement on www.wba.co.uk

Haven't seen any squirrels?!? There's f***ing thousands of the little shits around Rushcliffe.

Eatting all the food that I put out for the birds, digging up my spiring bulbs, tampering with the electric cables in the the loft. Then laughing and provoking my dog whilst sat up in a tree eatting bird food, bulbs and wire cable.

Bastards.

The game will be off due to the Tesco Shopping Bags blaming the bad weather, when in actual fact it'll be because they're too shit scared to face us.

I doubt it will be on
All the positivity coming from the Hawthornes is to be expected really. There's no way they want it called off due to the Sky money. So they're bound to put positive spin on it right until the final hour

It will be on, very close to motorway so access should be good.

I do hope its on. One thing I don't want is a fixture pile up due to re-schedules.

Look at Clownty, they must have 3 or 4 games to re-schedule now.

The more this happens to other teams in the Championship the happier I am as it means they have to squeeze in games, tired legs etc.

I think if it was going to be called of they would have done it by now. Conditions are not going to get any worse before kick off I wouldnt have thought.

Is the Sky money really worth that much? The ÂŁ264m is split 80%, 12% and 8% to Championship, League 1, and League 2 respectively. This money is then distributed evenly between each club.

I do believe though that each club will receive money from Sky for each game (to be broadcast abroad etc) which i've read is to be around ÂŁ60,000 (please correct me if i'm wrong, can't remember where I saw it!). I'd imagine the club may generate extra income in sponsors too.

But the club may then find themselves with a reduced support. Assume average ticket price is ÂŁ16 (for this match) then 60,000 / 16 = 3750. So if attendance is reduced by greater than 3750 would the club find themselves losing money by having a live match (especially in the CCC, L1, and L2 where attendances rarely sell out)? Also consider the reduced numbers not buying merchandise, beer etc.

I'm not having a go, I really don't know the answer to this question.

Oh, and I think the game will go ahead :)

It will be on, there's far too much curry in the area for it to freeze.

Well if anyone's leaving early stick a shovel in your boot and help out when you get there :)

If it's called off therres actually a good chance id be able to go to the rescheduled game, but that said id rather it went ahead the way were playing right now. :)

Yeah considering a massive chunk of Saturday's games were called off yesterday and even Man City v Man United was called off 48 hours in advance im confident, that barring a drastic change in the weather in the Birmingham area, that this game would have been off day's ago if it was going to be called off at all.
