Why Paul Smith should start in future....

He sat next to me at an Indian restaurant tonight and ordered Hot Chilli Chicken. His lady ordered Lamb Karachi.

Lee Camp would have ordered a korma. Therefore the age old debate has been settled.

i like kormas, but would prefer the smithster in goal

Smith shouldnt play in net for us! We'd have lost more games with that useless lump between the sticks!

..which he flapped at and it slipped through his fingers and on to the floor. :D

Am I the only one who thinks that a ground shot along the floor is likely to find the net when Camp is in goal, whereas Smith tends to stop them. Camp has strengths such as commanding his area and communication skills, but honestly, is he more effective than Smithy? Smithy had some superb games last season - a pity we can't coach him into coming out more.

Agreed! And no,, Camp isn't more effective than Smith. He's not quite the shot stopper Smith is, and his distribution is just as woeful. But as you say he has more confidence and commands his area which i'm guessing gives the back 4 more confidence as well

I dunno, he seemed pretty content with his lady last night.

He'll probably start against Blackburn and if he plays well I could see him start against Plymouth.

Its good to see what Camp does when the ball is in play (getting out, talking to defenders, gee-ing up the crowd, etc) but a few of the gaols conceeded have been stoppable.

Please - this is not a thread for debating the Smith v Camp debate on their goalkeeping merits. It is more to do with their Curry preferences.

Any other comments will make me mad(ras), the debates as old as my Naan and might just send me into a Korma.

I had a prawn curry last night, i made it with scotch bonnet chillis, they are insanely hot and my fingers still tingle from cutting them

Paul Smith would have cried at them, Camp would have licked my knife clean

Don't think you could blame Camp for yesterday's goal.

Not a great deal he could do about the deflected ones either.

Yesterdays goal was the five or so players around that blackpool player, not Camp.

Failing to put in a challenge was suicidal.

It's the proof we've all been waiting for.

There is no goalkeeper but Smith, and PopGoesTheRobbie is his prophet.

Lee Camp doesn't even like Curry.

Korma sends him into sweats.

Paul Smith brushes his teeth with Vindaloo.

I also have it on good authority that Smith is longer in the shower.

Also Paul Smith uses Tabasco Sauce as aftershave, while Lee Camp uses just water :leacock:

Paul smith has Lime pickle for a light bite...

Korma's are awful, nothing like a nice soothing Chilli Naga or Chilli Masala... God I fancy a curry now.. lol

When Paul Smith shaves his balls it takes 4 razors.

He's even been known to wax them, he's that manly.

Lee Camp uses Veet.
