why have we still signed no one and why is no one concerned?

Do Billy Davies and the board not realise that with this team we are going down?

I was extremely excited and confident a month ago. talk was that we will have considerable money to spend, blackstock was a guaranteed signing etc etc.

A month on and the season is getting closer by the day yet we still have signed noone (adebola doesnt count)

the thing thats bothering me is not just the fact that we haven't signed anyone, but the fact that noone involved with the club seems concerned!

A few reasons.

The transfer window isn't open yet.

Everyone's on holiday.

Aside from Derby signing a few non-leaguers - who actually HAS signed anyone yet? Nobody really.

Too early to panic, basically.

I think your underselling us just a little bit. we still have some of the best attendances in that league. and i believe that Bill Davies will have a major impact on players wanting to sign for us.

We are still one of the biggest clubs in that league

Took longer than I thought to be honest!

Why is it exactly that you conclude noone involved with the club seems concerened?

By my reckoning you are either suggesting a statement on the website saying "oh shit, we've not signed anyone yet" to confirm said concern, or a panic buy just for the sake of it. Either of which are equally as ridiculous.

Id like us to sign the following

Camp- saved a penalty against derby what more can i say?

Mills- Solid defender a good signing. destined for the premier league

Jones- Did very well in the scottish league. and i belive we need to sign at least 2 centre backs

Lynch- impressed me at the end of last season. looks a steal for the quoted price

Mckenna - Solid centre midfielder. does his job well and a leader on the pitch

Anderson - wait can i say about ando. i am a big fan as i think he has a big future in the game

Blackstock- was fantastic for us whilst on loan last season. earnshaw looks a different player when blackstock is on the pitch

Mcgoldrick- would be a bonus and give us some extra fire power. This could maybe give garner a chance to shine on loan else where

Some people really... Just begs belief! Wish people would stop this penalty saving infatuation with camp, he didn't save one from mcgugan, swap lewis and lees shirts and who's awesome now?

Obviously i have got nothing to back it up. and its probably jsut ignorance on my part.

But its jsut the impression i get. Mark arthur seen in west bridgeford today for example? rather then on the phone sorting possible deals like he should be. Who knows? maybe im wrong its just the general feeling i get and ive seen it all before with forest. we will be hoping for new signings right up to the bus trip away at reading

Maybe, just maybe - and I realise I run the risk of being a little bit controversial here - maybe they are not concerned because they know a lot more than we do and are not letting on until they are either certain or able to?

- I think we only need one, as Wes was brilliant last season.

- We need another left back. If Lynch keeps playing like he did the last months of last season, then OK. Not worth more than £500-700K though.

- Fair enough. Considering his age we should not pay over a million for him.

- Inconsistant, but works very hard. Hopefully he will become more consistant, then he's worth a try.

Blackstock- was fantastic for us whilst on loan last season. earnshaw looks a different player when blackstock is on the pitch

- Garner is just as good as him, but if BD wants 5-6 strikers, then maybe he is one we should try to get here...
