With Nottingham Forest having some cash they are about to sign Michael Owen on loan till jan.
Billy Davies has asked SAF for a favour. Its not a done deal though, as there are still things to sort out.
SAF seems keen on the idea of Owen getting 6 months constant football at a decent level so that he can properly assess him.
Like I said, still stuff to sort out, like being able to recall him if needed, but its very very much on the cards.

Nor would he name Owen in a 25 man squad then send him out on loan; this being the only way he can play for United in the first half of the season.

There is nothing in the pipeline in terms of anything major I will tell you that now, ok it can change but I can't see it as it would have to come from the fans and manager combined and they have both been dealt with brilliantly by the PR machine

Have you noticed that the ITKs have got near enough every name right and most of the back room stuff right just like last year yet nothing has happened that's all they have got wrong the timing and that smacks of deliberate leaks, if you think about it what is worse constant rumours or total silence.
