not so sure about the outs. If Chambers and Davies do as they are told they could stay. He likes experience but yeah, Brecks will go i think.

Eyes might be on Cohen googy but Earnie would cost money and they wont get much back when he goes.

Doesn't a group that BD wants to get rid of, and a group of people he can't keep hold of amount to the same thing?

sort of.. but i get his point
i think he means, that they are the players, finanically maybe we cant keep ? OR those players may not want to stay..
and the others perhaps not good enough and that..

If we stay up (especially if we stay up comfortably) I can't see too many of our players wanting to leave.

Yes, there will probably be bids from Premier League (or those recently relegated from it) but you'd hope the people in charge of the club are astute enough that if we do lose any of our "bright young things" we get a bloody great big pot of cash, rather than a pittance as has recently been the case....

As for players BD wants out...

earnie wont leave if we stay up hes enjoying his football to much with us, and I suspect if he stays fit next season he could well go on to beat his own personal best for the season with us, also with the form hes showing theres no reason why he wont be back in the wales squad on a perm bassis

I very much doubt a premiership side will come in for Earnie, and if they did we'd demand King's ransom I would hope. Like Flagman said I would like to think very few would want to leave to further their ambitions in the summer if we stay up,optimism would be absolutely sky high around the club with a great feel good factor to match.

Cohen would be the only one we'd have to resign ourselves to losing I believe, I think McGugan moving on would be too soon. Sorting out the permanant signature of Paul Anderson must be a priority also. As for what plans Davies has though is anyone's guess, can make an educated guess who will be shifted out though.

No wonder my post count..
I reckon if keep a lot of the youth on, another season of experience will really add to their value and come summer 2010, we'll be able to sell them on for a tidy sum and get a premiership bothering team in.

What is Wes' contract situation? I've read on here that his current deal expires this summer - is that definitely the case? If so it should be a priority to get him a new one.

Although Cohen has the potential and fitness to make it at a higher level I'm not sure he's ready yet - hopefully we could hang on to all of the Group 2's for another season.

Doesn't it depend on which division we're in? I'll worry about who's leaving in May.

If we stay up, which I think we will, we won't lose many players, if any.

McGugan and Cohen would be the only two I expect to receive bids from better clubs for.

Davies will be off back to League One and I reckon Thornhill could go on loan for a few months of regular football, but Earnie won't be going anywhere and I hope to God that Morgan signs a new contract.

hoping that we stay up it might be best we let some go so we can add some better players but that just sounds like the obvious, so i will go with that.

we need strenth, depth, once again the obvious!

but dont wanna lose earnie thats a fact!

I hardly think a club like Real Madrid could attract a world class banquetting and conference facilitator such as Kiddier.
