Swansea for me. Not only are they in poor form, they are also shite in front of goal and I cannot see them shutting us out sufficiently over the two legs. For what it's worth, I also think that we will be playing Swansea as 3rd place looks nailed on now and I cannot see Blackpoo or Boro catching them as they both have tougher games to play. Equally, I can see Leicester doing enough to claim 5th.

I am predicting that we will play Cardiff in the final and that we will win with a late goal from Nathan Tyson. I had a dream about it and everything.

personally i couldnt care less if we get behind them and make an immense atmosphere we could beat anyone plus we're 3rd so we should beat everyone below us ¬_¬

Over two games, we SHOULD be able to beat any of the contenders - it's the final, one-off, showpiece game which will really test us out.

I dont care who we face. We can beat any of them.

Why look for the 'easy way out'?

We won't get an easy ride in the Premiership (if get that far!) so why should we in the Play-offs?

Bring 'em all on!

I will be happy to avoid Boro, i hope they don't sneak in.
On paper they have a squad only second to Newcastle.
I think they have massively under achieved so far this season.

I'd like Boro, they are a team with little cohesion and full of individuals. Next season they'd be ok but I think we would hammer them in the play off's....

Agreed. Plus it was a pretty even encounter at the City Ground earlier in the season as well.

I really hope the top 6 stays as it is as we are likely to play the team finishing 6th and we do not want to play someone who has sneaked in off the back of a great run.

Looking at the table, I think things will stay exactly as they are, with the exception of possibly 6th place.

It'l be Cardiff v Leicester and Us vs Swansea/Blackpool/Boro/Reading.

We are capable of beating the lot :)

I don't want Swansea as we've beaten them twice this season. It reminds me too much of Yeovil....

Leicester because it's the nearest and they're shit!

I'd prefer Leicester or Swansea.

With Whittingham and Burke back, Cardiff are much more dangerous.

best over 3 games...mmm

regardless then, whoever we play away, we lose
whoever we play at home, we win

just hope the 2nd leg we score more = Wembley

Wembley = fast pitch, feckin perfect for our style of play

Yes, but there lot will be as well.

To be honest I can't see it making much difference as Cardiff, Leicester and Swansea all have pace in their sides.

Would be very weary of playing Middlesborough if they snuck in because they would on a high and they still have a very good squad.Even more so Reading because it would be quite remarkable if they managed a top 6 finish considering where they were just a couple of months ago in the table.Hopefully it will stay as it is and we get Swansea,I'd be confident then.

Beating Leicester in the final would be an amazing end to the season. But when I arrive at Wembley, I'd be 40% excited about being here in the final at Wembley & 60% terrified that we might bottle it and lose.

Swansea and then Leicester in the final, Welsh teams should not be allowed in the league anyway as they are errmmm Welsh and have their own league with great teams such as New Cefyn Druids so they can just sod off and play with them.;)

I started a thread about this in the "football banter" section a while back. I was arguing that if they get to the English Premier League and deny and English team a place there, its a f***ing wrong 'un. And, that they're also denying the Welsh league the chance to flourish. All the same arguments for not letting the Glasgow teams leave the SPL apply, it would flop without them. Likewise, Welsh football can't get going without their biggest towns being represented. The winner of the Welsh league no doubt gets into Europe, I'm surprised that Cardiff and Swansea don't want a sniff of that. :spankarse:
