Dude. Chill out!!! He's been at the club 5 minutes, he's barely had chance to identify his number one targets...let alone a fall back plan. I'd rather he took his time and signed players that he's had time to assess, than rushing ointo things and landing us some more Eugene Dadis...

Haha yeah, I totally agree with that statement. However, I agree with it less now that we have 75 minutes left of the transfer window.

However, if we sign somebody who is worse than our youngsters, just for the sake of 'getting a body' then everyone will still be on a downer, we'll have not strengthened the squad, wasted money and potentially stunted the development of one of the youngsters...

Sometimes this sort of shortage is just the opportunity that a fringe player, or a youngster needs to show they can step up or come of age. Lets not forget that up until Cardiff, Billy was working miracles in spite of the injuries. If that's something to be on a downer about, then excuse me for feeling optimistic.
