Where are anti BD folks now?

About a week ago I put up a post in defence of Billy Davies' credentials and was largely ridiculed and slated by people off here.

How are those people feeling now after 2 successive victories?

I'd also like to point out that Nigel 'the saviour' Clough has already tasted defeat with Derby.

Shows how little people know

shows how much you know after one game in charge you are sayin 'shows how much you know'.

im still not in love with davies, the football in the 1st half was dire.

great result, and hes certainly got the players motivated.

I was happy with the appointment of Davies and I still am, there's something about him that just fills me with confidence. CC was a nice guy but many questioned whether he had the personality needed to succeed in what is without doubt one of the most difficult jobs in the country.

I don't think the same questions can be raised with regards Davies.

Nothing like a gloater ! It's probably because we have done well with him. It takes time to win people over, but he has done well so far. Many may not totally agree he is still the right man, but how can anyone complain after the start he has made ??

I too have been a huge advocate of BD and have said numerous times he is the right man for the job and obviously still believe it.

However, there is still a long way to go for BD and Nige over in the sheep pen. But what a start for Billy. 2wins, 4 goals, 0 conceded. He wouldnt of hoped for any more.

Nige has made a bad start. Imagine they get spanked by Utd and then we turn them over, the shaggers will be calling for his head after 3 weeks!
Ive said it before and ill say it again, lets all get behind BD, he's here to do a job and that will be a lot easier with the full sopport from the fans.

Billy Davies Red n White Army clap clap clap clap.

With respect, do you really feel that dragging this up does any good whatsoever?

You've heard Billy ask for us all to get behind him & the lads so why drag things like this up.

Face facts, not everyone will like Billy or his style but rest assured he doesn't care.

The singular most important thing that we can do as fans is unite behind him in an effort to drive our once great club back to the Premier League, in doing so we must stop the silly sniping at each other with threads like this.

Lets just enjoy our Saturdays, lets revel in being above the sheep shaggers, lets roar the lads on to victory & lets look forward to the fantastic journey that Billy is going to take this club on

I suppose I could have come into that bracket, and I am here :-*. Onto your question, I am feeling absolute f***ing elated at 4 succesive victories and it is beginning to look much better for us. We seem to have some fight and confidence is a wonderful thing in football.

I am entitled to an opinion on who I would have liked as manager arn't I? That is after-all what a forum is about..... I had my reservations with BD (not with his management record) but man management and falling out with fans, players and the boards, but he is proving me wrong at the minute (for that I am very happy). Oh it is 4 succesive victories :nowink:

I find it highly sad/amusing that you have posted this though, it smells of I told you so... Didn't didn't I? I did didn't I? I did I did I told you so, Very f***ing childish son

There will always be people who rush to gloat about things no matter what happens. Some people don't seem to realise that you don't always have to be "pro" or "anti" anything. You can just support your team and see what happens...take the rough with the smooth and enjoy the good times when they happen.

(But that's probably just me and my old fashioned way of thinking, I mean I still don't even own a mobile phone ffs )

I was uncertain regarding Billy Davies, but watching him in action, he never allowed the players to get complacent, with Kelly, also barking instructions out, there is no excuse for the players to fail to grasp what is expected of them, I would imagine for a player who does not fancy something, there will be no hiding place from Davies either.

Today Forest played and appeared to be Managed by an Original type of Manager, meaning old school. Am I pleased with the appointment, you bet I am. Felt confident today with the side, they are not going to win every game they play, but I do not expect another Doncaster at home again under Billy Davies.

As for Clough well he's manager at dirby so I just wish him ultimate failure. I could not give a rats bottom, I certainly did not want a non-league manager to come to Forest, only the heart asked that due to the surname.

He seem to be winning matches, which in the end, is the most important thing.

The fact you are trying to rub it in after two games is beyond me, you really think its going to be like this for the rest of the season and beyond?

I seem to remember Joe Kinnear being appointed, teams couldn't beat us that season, then after the summer and a fresh new season, teams beat us left, right and centre.

Oh and yes, I'm an anti-BD.

I agree, it is too early to judge.

Having said that, if we'd failed to score and been defeated twice, you could expect a lot of people proclaiming it as a huge mistake appointing him - the proof being those games.

Hopefully we can keep winning for all of us and stay up.

I personally wanted Nigel, and I was dreading BD, but I admit I was wrong. Billy comes across in the media spot on he's given the current players a fair try and we are winning games. Can't ask for more.

i was strongly against bd but i sincerely hope he keeps proving me wrong (i don't think i've ever been so happy to be 18th ;D) as for the sheep i reckon clough & crosby are doing an inside job for us and taking them down

Please no.

Two games. Two f*****g games and we get one of these.

It's too early to start anything like this (in fact there's an argument to say you should never start something like this) - just shut up and enjoy a good win.

I don't think anyone should be anti Davies. People should just look at his previous record in the Championship, he has been successful everywhere he has gone. Even with the sheep. So I wish everyone to give him the full backing he deserves.

Yes, spot on mate. The amount of utter negative tosh posted on here about Davies was ridiculous. If anything it highlighted the real problem with Forest.

For individuals to now tell you to stop gloating and move on, is, for want of a better phrase - Fu*king Hilarious.

Forest fans who understood the requirements of the Championship knew Davies was the answer.

And as for the clown who posted that today's first half was "dire"? Did you even attend son?

Today was a solid performance, by a team managed by a solid Championship manager.

Well done Billy & well done all those Forest fans who believed in him.

Instead of posting childish ditty's I suggest a few individuals offer a gracious apology for the days of utter drivel this forum was subjected to. :bigboss:

I thought the first half we were solid. Especially the defence, I'm sure they didn't have shot on goal in the first half. I'd much rather have this then Paul Smith have shots currently fired at him, just gives the rest of the team a sense of confidence that they know they can keep a route one team at bay.

So long may his reign continue, and bring the sheep now.

yeh that clown was me and i stand by my comment. The first half was the shittest most ugliest half of football ive ever seen.
