I was also wondering this Rich.

I know pubs like Weatherspoons in slabe sq and waterfront will be open at 9.

I'm getting into Nottingham around 10-10:30.....so also wondering what time the pubs around the ground will be opening?

This post tells you all about the Globe (and the Monkey Tree), which open at 10 and 8 respectively... :)

Am tempted to go to the globe, but don't know anyone off here!! :(.

Also, I go with me brother who's only 16 but looks a damn sight older. Would there be any hassle with him coming in aswell, or is that fine?

Cheers mate.

Even if Wetherspoons etc are open at 9am, there is no guarantee they will be serving booze that early.

In Shepherd's Bush for QPR last week - a lot of places opened at 9 or 10am, but were under police instruction not to serve alcohol until 11am.

Might it be similar here tomorrow??

Good point. I've been in the said Weatherspoon's though and definatly been served booze. Weather that changes tomorrow on police request, i have no idea.

They don't bite! You'll get to meet Winnits, too!

The Globe's child-friendly - that's one of the reasons LTLF adopted it as pre- and post-match venue.

If you do decide to come, drop Winnits, StuC or Alex a PM and they'll be able to sort out how best to get in if the place is packet to the rafters and nominally full...

Ahhhh sounds like a good shout, really am tempted to pop in and meet everyone.

Was in the same bar as some of the lads off here after the Lisbon game. Along the strip with the karaokee going if anyone can remember. All seemed a decent bunch up for a laugh.

I'll definatly look into it tonight and see what every1 fancies, seems a very good option though!

Random question, how much would it be to get in?

NEWARKREDS!

i can guarantee the bentinck hotel next to train station will be open about 9ish

It has two bars and a back room with a big Tele.
Last time I went there Ebby and his wife were there.
They smell bad.
It serves beer and there are fruit machines and toilets. It gets very busy.
It's a typical pub close to the ground on Matchday really.

Apart from the enormous ferret that takes chunks out of young lady's thighs.

Come along and don't be shy.

You know you want to.

If you're a subscriber then it's free otherwise a £1.00 entry per person gives you access to the upstairs room where we'll all be. As Flagman suggests, just drop a message to one of the big boys and they'll sort it out for you. ;D
