What the Raddy hell is going on?

I know i'm in danger of going over old ground here but hasn't it all gone very quiet on the Rad's signing front?

Forest World said they were going to have a full interview with him up last week? What happened to that? Has the situation changed again?

The deal is finalised, but is awaiting international clearance from the Polish mafia.

The same thing that's going on with his form.

I told you not to hold your breath.

I really do hope we sign him but the longer it goes on the less likely it looks.

Doesn't really sound like exchange rates does it?

I anticipate him being signed by a Premiership club for ÂŁ3 to ÂŁ4 million. Probably WBA or Newcastle or one of the lower end clubs.

Just my opinion.

Club is probably waiting till its got something to shift. You know what they're like for sitting on news until they can exploit via your wallet.

At the moment, play-offs etc are enough to keep you dipping.

Mick McCarthy's opinions on him were quite eye opening.

As much as we all think Premiership clubs would swoon over him, McCarthy seemed relatively dismissive. Saying he certainly had skills, but wasn't really doing much with it.

Ok I am in !lol

Our written deal is still in place for us to buy him at the agreed fee of 1.5m euros from his club - that has never changed and his club cannot charge us more than that - if we buy him the deal is 1.5m euros between us and Polonia Warsaw simple as that - the selling club is not part of the problem and when they were it was the comparitively trivial exchange rate issues and if you look back that is when I told dilly he was wrong

The issues are now with Raddy and his agent agreeing terms with Forest or not depending on whether he wants to risk holding out for more and seeing what happens

Same issues we would have with any other current Forest player looking to negotiate a contract that was shortly due to finish other than if or when we agree his terms we would then automatically pay 1.5m euro to Polonia

Dilly says he has had a conversation with Raddy - if that is the case dilly when he recently mentioned millions to you he was talking about for himself and not Polonia (as a peace offering to dilly I am going to give dilly the benefit of the doubt and just say that dilly misunderstood where the extra money was going to go that he claims Raddy told him about). The agent clearly thinks he is on to a winner and is just doing his job.

In January Majewski was ready to sign. He was disappointed when that happened as was the manager. Now Raddy himself is the one stalling on the deal and that is why our manager has gone quiet on the issue as he knows the club are doing their best albeit they should have sorted it in January when the player himself was ready to sign.

The manager believes Raddy has since been tapped up hence the stalling on the deal.

(I spoke to a Premier League scout who was at Forest recently and asked who he was watching and he too dismissed Raddy as being no better than what they already had) - having said that they are one of the better Premier League clubs !!

If I was Raddy I would sign for a realistic wage - grass is not always greener and I think Davies gets the very best out of him (agent might not think that way though)

I personally think 1.5m euros is about the right price for him and he deserves to be one of our higher wage earners but we have others in the squad far more important to us

Moussi I think we should tie down to a longer contract soon - now he is fit he is heading in the right direction and could become a target for Premier League clubs quicker than we realise

have to agree with him in some respects. for all his skill and ability he hasnt recently done a great deal with it, I do feel he is being a bit overhyped atm

Might actually help getting the deal done if the hype went away for a few weeks and Raddy played it safe and signed for us
