What grounds

When a club is promoted to the premiership, the top flight, along with the status and wages, it is supposedly the playing at the best stadiums that is a major attraction.
What grounds/clubs are the attractions in the current Premier League?

On a selfish note it will be nice to tick a few off the list I've not been to:

Emirates
City of Manchester (still kicking myself over that!)
Craven Cottage
Brittannia
KC Stadium
Turf Moor (although I doubt that will be a Prem ground for long).

I look at that list and can't help but image some of those names belong to the championship.

Only Prem grounds I haven't been too are Fratton Park, Turf Moor, Ewood Park and the Reebok in Bolton.

I think the top 6 or 7 teams are the main places fans look out for.

Actually yes, I went to whatever Bolton's old ground was I think.. so can add Reebok to my list.

It's a glamourous list.

The Emirates is an awesome ground, but the best ground for me was Christie Park at Morecambe, as that was my last ground for the 92.

If we get promoted it may well be a fair few years before we play there again, even if we are immediately relegated.

The Reebok Stadium looks really impressive to me when I see it on the telly. Relatively small compared to some, but I really like the design. Not sure whether it matches up in real life - especially with their poor crowds - but would like to go there and see.

It's like D***y's place, but without seats in the corners.

The locals call it "The Breeze Block" and with good reason.

Nice enough, for a soul-less bowl....

Have you been there when it's full of macums? I thought it might be cool atmosphere wise. I've been to the emirates, its kinda half magnificent, half a marketing managers wet dream. Didn't feel like proper football but mayb thats arsenal fans

Yeah, it wasn't very loud. In my experience the North East fans are over-rated, mostly by themselves. They travel quite well, but at home they've never impressed me.

Lol who do you rate? Sounds like you'd be more happy if we went down than up from a stadium/fan perspective

I support Forest - I don't give a rat's ass about other team's fans really!

For the record though, as it's an interesting question, in my travels the fans that impressed me most at home were Man United fans. Forest were 2-0 up (yes, really!), and hearing them roar the team on was impressive.

Cantona went on to score a consolation goal but fortunately we held on for the win.

Fans more readily impress on their travels, and the Toon Army were pretty good this season.

Must be the acoustics then! Barely heard the fabled army from my Trent End vantage point..

They couldn't hear you either ;)

Leeds fans were good value season before last too.
