What could have been...

garrilla

Viv Anderson
Martian O'Neil, Biriyani Laws, Royal Keeane

O'Neill is good manager, but like he was a player he's very one dimensional.

Laws, I never thought he was a good manager and the sucess that Adkins had after he left suggests there was something more than Laws at play. The rest is history.

Keane is probably a good manager in the making but it will take him a long time to shake of his player-mentality.

Good job we got King Billy eh?

this "o'neill-isn't-all-that" stuff is absolute bollocks. he took wycombe up 2 divisions, he won trophies with leicester bloody city and established them as a top 10 premiership side (funny how that stack of cards collapsed as soon as he left), he knocked rangers off their bloody perch and took celtic to uefa cup final where he was beaten by a coach who is generally considered the best of his generation and he's taken a villa side who were generally hovering around the lower reaches of the premiership to consistently challenging for the top 4 against teams who are blowing a shitload of cash on players every summer.

he's a brilliant manager who would get forest promoted and established midtable premiership in 3 seasons. whether he'd take us on from there, who knows? but he's a f***ing ace manager and comparing him to laws and keane is absurd.

i dunno about that, don't remember it that well. i remember getting annoyed by the timewasting, but hey they're portuguese.

the cheating was like nothing else ive ever seen, it was unbelievable, and i know o'neill can get a bit touchy with refs, but he lost his rag that night, it was an absoloute travesty, and it happens too much in european football, its a disgrace.

Well said sebs. I agree completely. That said, I was glad to see Laws and his boys beat Hull today.
