What are you doing instead of watching/listening to Forest this afternoon?

I'm reading Mrs Dalloway and drinking a lot of tea. I've also been doing some Christmas shopping online, largely finding things for myself.

I'm painting!

With the rain melting a lot of the snow/ice today, we'd have had no problem getting around the City Ground. Damn you Forest for giving up too easy! lol

I'm on a train to see my housemates from uni at a reunion. Six of the seven of our group together, first time in about 18 months. I'm very excited.

I'm lazing on the sofa with "Soccer Saturday" on in the background.

I am unlikely to move for the remainder of the day, save for refill trips to the fridge.

I went to the gym then watched Arsenal v Fulham...somehow....

Off to Camden in a bit to see a friend for a couple of pints

watching porn and drinking magners!

Gym, wrapping Christmas presents. :)

I hate the bloody treadmill.

I like Mrs Dalloway. Much better than To A Lighthouse. It's really vivid with all the sensory perceptions and going through different minds. The Septimus sections are ace.

I went to the cinema, watched a film about a runaway train (a bit silly but inspired by actual events), had a few beers and had a wonking great big mixed grill. Tasty. I didn't eat it all so wasn't allowed to have a pudding.

In the film the train driver gets off his slow moving train to change a set of points. In real life the driver got off his slow moving train because it was the end of his shift but his replacement had overslept. I think the real life version was too daft to be used in a film.

In the film a train driver dies, in real life the train derails at the bottom of a steep decent off a mountain and puntures a large diameter high pressure gas main in a residential area. f***ing mayhem (?) but no-one dies.

First weekend back in UK for a long while; went to see Barbarians v South Africa at Twickers.

Shopping and a resultant squabble with the mrs about money. Stupid snow. Stupid Forest. Stupid MArther.

You need a "clothing-and-shoes acquisition panel", Jonny!

Remember, though, that your job is merely to advise and recommend...

"I don't think your bum looks big in this." :D
