West Brom away on Sky

Good times.

Sky obviously fancy us as promotion contenders, as the games they pick from now tend to be ones that have significance.

Thanks for pointing out the date Jonathan, that could have caused a serious argument.

I wouldn't have minded a Saturday trip to Brummie land, but second best is to watch the game on TV. I just have to lay down the law and make sure that my daughter gets to bed before kickoff!

I think I remember someone (Rich) kicking off once when someone posted a similar topic with no date!

Yup!

It wasn't quite like this, though.

I don't think it gave any details, just a link to the website and said 'change of game time' or something like that.

At least you've said who this is against.

Result, I might try and get to this one

FFS!

I was looking forward to a nice Saturday afternoon game at The howthorns.

Me too

I'm having to limit my games this season and, having never been to the Hawthorns, this was one of my 'must see' games. May still be able to make it but driving on a Friday night is not as sociable as a Saturday on the beer!

yay, this should be a cracking game, which is why I think Sky have chosen it...

That would be acceptable lol

I think the Police won't allow it to be moved as they've probably already assigned extra staff to it.

But no reason why one of the television companies can't pick it up at that time though.

I bloody hope it's on the TV so we can watch it at Heathrow.

Would be pretty funny if it got moved to Sunday, Winnits and Eddie would have a night in Boston for no reason and might even miss it on the Sunday.

I hope not! They'd be bloody grumpy as hell for the stay! (More so than normal in Winnits case.)

Looking at it from Sky's point of view, rather than a supporters point of view, they would be mental not to show the sheep game.

The one they actually showed last season (the 1-1 league game) was a cracker, and the 2 that the haven't shown (3-2 to both sides) would have made excellent neutral viewing.

They'l show it, im sure (unless the BBC nab it, but they've already shown us both once this season so I doubt it)

Moving it to the Friday would be grand.

That would be a pain as I'd feel the need to come up for the game and then have to rush around trying to get to Heathrow in the morning.

I'm sure that wasn't what you were saying when we discussed it at Palace! :D

For once we have a string of away games on TV. It always seemed to be our home games over the past few years.

Argh!

WBA away is normally a great away day, I hope we still take big numbers.

Maybe our world class banqueting facilities have gone downhill and Sky aren't happy?
