he is better than our whole team put together.

he was bossing ewankes cake and donkeylumo....

if we go down, i think he should go. because he deserves so much more than this f***ing clown of a team.

i want him to stay. but he doesnt deserve to play in that shit hole again.
therefore, for his services down the years and devotion, i would not complain if he left in the summer if we go down.

Wes has always been a loyal player to us, He's been here since 2003 now?

To be fair, I don't see who would want Wes. Despite how good he is, I just can't see him leaving Forest soon, and I can't see him playing in the Premier League. Championship is his standard, He has adapted very well to the CCC.

I do like Wes, sometimes can do the odd mistake, this year though he has been spot on.

He recently signed a new contract knowing full well that we are in the middle of a relegation battle. Combine this with the praise Davies has given him it's quite clear he is going nowhere relegation or not.

Wes Morgan has made the step up with ease and is easilly one of the, if not the best player at the club at the moment.

He's a fans fave, he's Solid, he's reliable and he's not looked back since the mistake against Yeovil two years back ... Well Done Wes on another MOTM display today!

Thats bollocks, he's had some right ropey displays this season, especially early on. He definitely seems to be more consistently decent now, which he hasnt been before.

I thought today wasn't one of his better games, he improved as it went on but a few dodgy touches early on could have been punished, especially the one from the underhit goal kick. He had a statue moment second half during a scramble and Lynch had to fly past him to cover and put the call out for a corner. He didn't play badly overall but I was flabbergasted when he was announced as man of the match, Gunter, Wilson and Lynch in no real order played better.

I'm not saying he's not made mistakes, but in a back four/five as bad as ours he's been by far our best performer at the back and twice the player Wilson has been.

Wes has been very consistent this season, and has been one of our few successes. He is a proud Nottingham lad also, and always gives everything he's got.

You only had to see how gutted he looked at the end of the match today to see how much the club means to him.

First 5 minutes today he was blo&dy terrible, after that solid as a rock. Like one of his solo runs, 'he's not going anywhere'

He certainly does deserve it given how terrible he has been for most of his Forest career and considering the mistakes he has made in the past to cost us matches. No doubt he has been fantastic for the last two seasons, but...short memories.

With Wes being a Nottingham lad he wears his heart on his sleeve week in week out. If we do go down and he leaves i can't seeing being as brilliant as he is for us because he won't be born and bred there. Wes though i do believe isnt going anywhere.

YOU'LL NEVER BEAT WES MORGAN!

Hmm. Care to elaborate?
From where I was sat, if we'd had 11 people playing with the passion of Morgan today, we'd most likely have got 3 points...

Wilson has had some fine games this season. A lot of good things he does go unnoticed and he gets absolutely no credit. He made a couple of great blocks today, as he has been doing all season. Sure, he has made one or two errors - but he is only human and you couldn't name me one player in the world who hasn't made a couple of mistakes.

Also, Wilson missed both the games we shipped 5 goals in. And now Wilson is back, the defence looked a lot more solid again. Which tells you everything really.

That's the trouble with our defenders,Play well for 99% of the time and then lose it for long enough to concede a goal.
I love Wes to bits for his 100% attitude but after the 5th time he sliced it up in to the air for no apparent reason,i began to lose hope.
Wes and wilson look world-beaters at times and the next minute they don't look good enough for the sunday league.
We need defenders who are consistent, like Wolves Jody craddock.
He doesn't go on mazy runs to get the crowd onside,he just defends.
Wes was ace today but his one error cost us dearly.
Nuff said.

I think it's the contrasting styles. Fans look at Wes, with his rugged style, last ditch blocks and they rally round him.

Wilson's more 'casual' style got him in trouble a few times earlier on this season and some people still (wrongly) seem to hammer him for it. I imagine, like a lot of the squad, he took time to adapt to this division but recently he's been excellent as he was again today.

Wils has been decent in the last few games I've seen him now, and yes, Wes's battling style will always see him be more easily recognised I suppose - but he was cracking today, as well as when deployed as an emergency striker again, he put in a series of block tackles and but for a kinder ricochet could've created a great chance for us.

Those 3 consecutive 'charge downs' were immense.

He's probably wondering why he signed that contract now. I'm sure a more 'secure' CCC club would've offered him a few quid extra for a bosman transfer in the summer, on the back of his recent performances.

I'm sure I'll get a lot of stick for this but does anyone agree with me that he does cost us the odd goal and with the ball at feet he seems uncomfortable and not confident? Don't knock me I agree he wins his headers and tackles but with the ball at his feet is he really that good of a footballer?

I think Wes Morgan, on the ball is a skillfull player, his size and cumbersome gait at times disguise this, along with the crowds reaction to Wes as/if/when he goes forward. O.K. He can make errors from time to time, but if he was pefect, he would be playing for one of the top four in the Premieship, not Forest.

His attitude alone makes him an outstanding player for Forest, how many other centrehalfs have coped with the big Wolves centre forward as well this season, not too many or Wolves would'nt be at the top and that player would not be a regular in the starting line up.

One of the problems when we moan on the boards about mistakes our own players make, Is we do tend to forget the skill, motivation and determination of our opponents, there are some good players out there, playing against us everyweek.
