Hello and welcome to the championship Newcastle United...cant wait till next season..

....assuming that they don't go into financial meltdown before Aug that is?

They're a piss poor side...gutless performance today..looking forward to getting 6 points off them next year!

Welcome Newcastle

It's not all bad down here

You get to play a club who have won

2 European Cups
1 League Title
1 FA Cup
4 League Cups

All in the last 50 years. I know, it's incredible isn't it.

I wonder if the Toon Army remember how far it is from Newcastle to Plymouth? ;D

The Geordies always think they are a bigger club than they really are. Last trophy was in 1969.

I'm so looking forward to Match of the Day tonight.

I take no pleasure from the misfortune of other clubs, and that includes Newcastle.

We've all experienced the fall and relegation and appreciate the desperation, the gut wrenching disappointment and the depression.

But.................... :hey: :hey: :hey:

I would agree, but it's their arrogance that remains even though they're down - a little humility would have helped. You can't help but raise a snigger at the crying fans of Boro & Newcastle! One of the main reasons I was watching earlier on!!

Alan Shearer dreadful bullsh1t on football we had to endure each week on MOTD has finally been beneficial to football and the fans.

ALL HAIL ALAN SHEARER

Welcome Newcastle fans to the City Ground, this is where you'll be allocated!

I also want to add, I am so pleased it the legends in their own minds Geordies who are joining us next year...........................Financial meltdown ala Leeds is also on the horizon ;D

I love the entire idea, spirit and content of this thread! Well done!! :D :D

Distressing as this may sound, both Middlesboro and Newcastle are likely to lose almost all of their first team regulars and will still have some really difficult financial problems to deal with.

The last time Newcastle were relgated it took them four seasons to get back into the top flight.

A real shame, as they have the best fans in the entire universe apparently.

If Glen had supported Newcastle, they'd just have won the European Cup.

However, there is this ridiculous myth that the Toon army are something special.

Rather than a load of fat, bald unemployed Geordies with no sense of humour and several types of swine flu.

15 players on £50k or more.

NO relegation clauses.

:D

Yes, Newcastle had the 5th highest Prem wage bill. £62 million pa last figure i've seen.
They have a very interesting 3 months ahead.
And Mike Ashley to organise it :D :D

Hahaha!!! ;D
But don't you realise that the Geordies have exclusivity over the following:
Club Loyalty
Being working class
Temperature insensitivity
The best Beer
Having more grandparents that died in mining accidents
Growing Leeks
Racing whippets
Female Tattoos
& corrupt councillors
Most importantly however I can personally vouch for the fact they know absolutely f*** all about choosing Messiahs! :D
