we have great options in the cen of midfield at the moment, cohen had a good game in midfield last night, he was involved in everything, also mckenna is a workhorse! moussi gives us something diff in the way he loves a tackle and loves to carry the ball, ,mcgugan also like to play in a positive way. although i feel we are missing a commans like player , someone who links the midfield and attack which in hand will bring the best out of earnie! blackstock worked his socks off last night, and as always so did Garner, but i felt maybe we shud of brought andersson on earlier for garner and use the flanks more last night, and adebola on for earnie, salgado was bein torn all ova by tyson and i think with the height of dex and dele with the crosses at the end would of caused more problems. without an attacking central midfielder at the moment i feel this maybe our only way of scoring goals! Radi looks like he could possibly fill this space but with a already cramped midfield and mckenna a cert to start i find it hard to see how things will change to produce more goals!

Anderson should always play when fit!! Both footed can play either side but most of all its his position... Garner is a striker who we signed because of how many goals he scored for Carlise then we play him right wing!! If Billy rates him so highly then he should play him up front... Not right wing!!
True Pepper altough the options are good, gerner and tyson arnt real wingers, tysons close controlis not good enough to stay there perminant. Garner is a good option i feel in away games , he gets under their skin and loves backing in, how he always gets away with it is class. i dont think the lad will ever score lots of goals, but every now and then he pulls off a bit of magic and hes clever, a great foil for someone. it great how we have him and gunter who are always getting up the noses of the opposition and always on at the ref, in 20yrs of watching forest i dont remember us having many of them!!

Perhaps there's something to be said for not playing any one of our forwards for a run of games. I know that competition for places is a good thing but without a real run in the side how can a striker get his game going without the knowledge/fear he's going to be on the bench in the next game anyway.
Surely a player like Earnie or Blackstock would be better and back to being reasonably clinical if they had a run of games to get their eye in.

Garner should never play wide right if Anderson is fit. The folly of this has been clearly evidenced in the last 2 home defeats. The six striker rotation policy is one too many. Billy needs to look a bit harder at his selections and use subs more effectively. On current form I would much prefer to see Garner up front with Dexter [penalty king] Blackstock. :wacko:
