I have emailed the football league show asking for a debate on the subject, but as said in my email I doubt a debate will be held as it will put one of their favourite clubs in direpute.
it was a f***ing 50-50, the keepers come pelting out and flew himself onto the ball, as goalkeepers have the divine rite to kamikaze their way to the ball, and look what happened, tyson goes for the ball, seeing as hed run with it for 50 yeards, and the keeper going for it, gets hurt, tough ficking shit, get real.
you can see why bristol city fans are annoyed. they don't have anything left to play for this season and would like nothing better than to get a bit uppity over something. they should try supporting a team where mid-table finishes are a thing of the past. is it 01/02 the last season we had a boring mid-table finish?
If we weren't doing so well, how quickly would you change your minds about him?
My bet is that it wouldn't be as long as Calderwood for the very reason that CC was a dignified chap.
You've got to have a laugh at the comment about where are our forum mods to ban that person who posted the get well soon / v card pic. Hmm let me see who posted that![]()
There's a lot of talk about the intention in Tyson's challenge, yet most on here appear to be conveniently overlooking King Billy's alleged reaction to the incident, and his lack of sympathy after the match.
I wasn't there, but IF he did indeed laugh about it, I'm quite ashamed to be honest. I'm very proud of our fine clubs reputation for sporting behaviour and fine football. It would be a terrible shame if Davies ruinned all of that with unneccesary nastiness.
Someone once asked me when we were struggling in Div 3 whether I'd be happy with Colin Warnock in charge if it meant we turned things around. I said no. He's a nasty bastard who does a disservice to football.
I hope Davies isn't going down the same road, but ask yourself this question: -

My bet is that it wouldn't be as long as Calderwood for the very reason that CC was a dignified chap. Don't get me wrong, I reckonise that Davies has done a fine job turned our fortunes around and for that I am very very grateful. Whilst I don't think I'll ever take to him as a person, I don't need to. It's not as if he's coming over to mine for Sunday dinner.
Keep it up Billy - but stick to traditional Forest values in the way you conduct yourself please.
