I heard a rumour we are going to sign Buffon to end the Camp/Smith debate once and for all.

Tottenham are having a bit of a shortage of central defenders. If Dawson was fit he would be playing.

Daws and Bale are also both injured at the moment which is not ideal.

Not that I don't want to sign them of course.

With Bale his transfer was 5 million raising to 10 million with add ons. That could be significant because it seems like he hasn't made an appearance for a long time. Maybe he is on the verge of triggering a large payout?

If it will cost Spurs a couple of million to play him and they are not to keen on keeping him long term he could be shipped out now.

This is the same Vital that announced earnie had been sold yesterday.

Sonko possibly. Bale a very small possibility of a loan deal. Daws. Not a hope.
If we were to buy all 3 we would be looking at around 10 mill.
Daws has world cup football to think about. If he came to us it would basically rule him out. Absurd

I am not saying its gonna happen but Daws will be no where near the England world cup squad so I am not sure that is really a factor.

Just off the top of my head, England have Terry, Ferdinand, Lescott, King, Upson, Brown all in front of him.

My point is about ambition. If your English and get regular football in a good prem team then there's always hope of a call up to the squad. If your oustanding in a championshiop team then no hope

On top of these 3 signings we'll also get jack wishere on loan according to v*tal. So no need to fret. Do they just pick the best players in the top flight not always playing regularly and link them to us?

Can I just say, if these are indeed true, again I am dissapointed with Vital breaking the story. This only gives other teams the heads up on what is going on....

Yes but realistically he would probably have to play 20-30 games this season to be considered for the world cup squad.

I cannot see that happening myself and I doubt he does either.

Anyway, I don't think he would come back for the simple reason that it would be a backward step.

I might be a window-licker, but even I can see that all they have done is take every rumoured signing from the last 14 days and claimed that they are in the bag.

Vital is so full of sh*t! I miss the days when Dan used to go on their forum and call them all nob'eds.

only because I got bored of proving my theory correct to the minority lol that said all forums have there nob heads.
To be honest I got bored of the hypocrisy on there, that is still apparant.
