Scrapping replays would be an easy way to cut down the fixture list.

What are the odds of us being on TV for the replay?

Liverpool and Reading will invevitably get first dip on a replay so far(other high profile 3rd round games still to be played though),don't know how many replays will be shown so can't be sure whether we will be on the box yet.

Get through the replay before worrying about who we're playing in the 4th round.

If we manage it I'd like Liverpool at home, would be a great time to help put a nail in the coffin they are building for themselves.

Replays are stupid.

................or on the other hand, they're a vital way to ensure precious financial benefits for battling lower league teams who earn replays against higher opposition, rather than the possibility of simply being dumped out by a penalty shoot out lottery.

English football is already ridiculously top heavy towards the Premiership, replays at least ensure a little more of the TV and gate money can filter down the leagues, often making vital improvements to clubs' balance sheets and setting them up for years.

When we're in the Prem we wont think this though.

Yes, and unfortunately that sort of attitude is what's buggering English football.

Agreed, but the problem is ITV seem to just put on the big teams instead of the interesting ties so ultimately you end up with the big teams getting more money once again.

Having said that we might be a good bet for a TV game from the replays... Oh wait no Liverpool and Newcastle have go replays so they without doubt will be on.

The Notts game wouldn't be a bad one to put on either if it goes to a replay (or if the game is played on the replay dates) as there's a chance of an upset and those games quite often turn out to be belters but there's no hope of that one being on.

Be a good day at but you never get many tickets at Everton :(

Home team is required to give 15% should it be demanded, hence why away teams can (but rarely do) fill the entire lower bridgford when we have a home tie.

That said, the next person that talks about "Everton Tickets" wants a good slapping. Remember being draw against Liverpool and Man United in the last few seasons and not going through. We have to beat Birmingham away first, and we may be Nottingham Forest unbeaten away, but if they can hold us to a draw who would honestly fancy us on penos?

That said, I think its a good draw. Win = huge confidence boast... narrow defeat = well it was expected. As long as we don't get dicked (And I don't think theres a team in England that could dick us at the moment, outside the top 4) it's a good tie :)
