WBA v Owls

Seeing the result of this game has a direct result on Forest's season, I have placed this in Forest banter.

The two sides meet Tuesday night, I think at the Hawthorns. WBA on the back of a defeat, Owls following an unexpected result which should provide them with a lift.

The form book and my head go for a WBA win as they play the game in hand.........but I do hope for a Sheff Weds victory

Heart says Wendies will do it.............. Head disagrees :(

Wendies need points to avoid relegation, and they'll scrap - and are still trying to impress a relatively new manager.

But West Brom will win :(

Wednesday will nick it 1-0!!

Would be surprised and shocked at anything other than a home win.

I don't think this game will define either West Brom's or our season.

I'll be cheering on the Owls from my armchair and I sincerely hope they carry on the form they showed against Leicester at the weekend.

But I don't rate their chances of getting anything.

In the very least, I hope they give WBA a good going over in time for their home match against Blackpool.

As the Cheltenham v Doncaster match proved a few seasons ago, teams battling relegation tend to fight more for the points than teams on the cusp between automatic and playoff.

I would be surprised if Wednesday got anything out of this game.

However we do have home games with Ipswich, Plymouth, Peterborough and Palace ourselves before the end of the season, when WBA will have harder fictures on those days so plenty of opportunities to overtake them.

A draw or a win for Weds would be a very good result.

COME ON YOU err OWLS!

C'mon you owlsssss!!! It'll be 2-1 to Wednesday. WBA are a strange team they can either look like top championship club/premiership club and sometimes they look like They couldn't even beat a league 1 team let's hope that team comes out today. From what I have seen (WBA vs forest & Bristol vs WBA) if you get a goal against them they suddenly lose all thier confidence and make stupid mistakes, from the looks of the score vs QPR that is exactly what happened.

As much as I'd like the wendies to win, I can only imagine them leading 1-0 for 80 minutes andthen losing 3-1.

I don;t see this as the season defining moment tho. This gets rid of the game in hand but will probably leave us 2pts behind them. Its then a matter of holding our nerve for longer than they can hold theirs.

This coming Saturday may be important when we play Preston, where an away win can provide us with a lot of confidence by putting back-to-back wins together and taking points on the road again. The Baggies, who are at home, have the the Donkeys so this could be a key game.

Although a draw would put WBA ahead of us, I think it's the best we can expect Sheffield Wednesday to get away from home.

According to a Leicester supporting friend of mine, Nigel Pearson's negative tactics (Calderwood anyone) cost them at the weekend.

He said Wednesday were alright, but nothing special.

Obviously that's probably a biased view, but I'm expecting a home win tonight.

If this is our season to go up, it will be shown by wednesday winning tonight

I just put a bet on West Brom to win... make of that what you will :D

6-1

You're betting with your head rather than your heart!

Vegas.

There will be twists and turns in the season - but a home win tonight - two late goals after a nervy first hour ?

I'd certainly take a draw tonight though ...
