Was there any trouble today at Barnsley away?

There was aggro at the train station - a load of Barnsley fans crossing over platforms shouting scabs, went down to where the Forest fans were waiting for the 5.40 train to Nottingham. Police came blazing in - a few Forest fans got hurt from what I heard and I saw four or five Barnsley fans getting arrested.

On the coach back, down some little road, two old aged blokes got out of the car to chant scabs at us. One guy had no teeth and was shouting til purple in the face. Was funny, but quite saddening at the same time.

There was a large group of Forest lads gathering around the exit of the ground... a couple of faces I have seen misbehaving before, but a much larger group than usual

I was being called a scab at the station, and being tripped over by 5 middle aged men. Real mature, Inbreds.

They only wanted a reaction out of me, but they got nothing as I kept walking and stopped. So they had move around me.

I've just been watching Match of the day.

They only show Premiership games.

I may have been mistaken, but I thought I saw Paul Hart and Gary Megson.

I've also heard rumours about Joe Kinnear and Colin Calderwood.

Is it inevitable that any manager that comes to us is f***ing awful then will go on and do well with other teams?

If Cloughie joined us today, I think we still might be relegated. I mean Brian, not Nigel.

Great pint or two at the George and Dragon before the game. Thanks for the suggestion someone. There wasa bit of trouble there for me - I couldn't decide which of the excellent beers to sample. We parked the other side of the town 'centre' so we had to walk back through lots of young chavvy Barnsley types - some on mobiles and some interested in the horses charging about near the station. Saw no real trouble.
I think the S Yorks police cause a lot of problems by their lack of expertise. I didn't like them filming the crowd during the game and doubtless standing in the view of some of our fans. I did see some of our troublemakers arrive - recognised them from several other incidents away. Don't want them!

Saw a little mob of Barnsley outside George & Dragon (?), mostly kids, filth and chavs really. Horses soon moved them on. Sad to hear of 'normal' Forest fans getting singled out (Marriboom) by people who should know better.

Ended up in the Metrodome as parked in the Peel Centre (? some sort of retail park) so couldn't find anywhere else. Lots of other Forest in there - worst bar ever, literally a gymnasium and £3.00/pint. Talk about inflating the prices because a few away fans have turned out.

Good turn out from Forest boys though 8)

I was at the station at that point waiting to get the train back to Leeds. Was on the opposite platform and altough there were police there, I never saw the police barge in and don't recall any aggro.

Something I did notice though, saw one of the guys from the Skins cast from last year. Heard one of the cast was a forest fan and this backed it up.
