Warnock on Forest

It may be neighbours County who made the biggest splash, but Forest have been probably the biggest spenders in the division. I've looked on with a little bit of envy at Billy Davies throwing his money around. He's bought well, though. Adebola and Blackstock are a good pair up front, McKenna's a top player and they've done well to get the Wales international Gunter. They'll expect to be in the play-offs.

...nice, though his key stat is that we only went ahead in 14 matches last season. Can't see that repeating though.

Blooming Forest used to call him Neil "Colin" Warnock.

Anyone know why?

Neil Warnock is the 'love him or loathe him' kind.

Today, after reading those words, I kind of like the guy. ;D

Take the name Neil Warnock take out the letters that spell Colin and with the letters that are left re-arrange them to make the W word.

Notice he says "they'll expect" rather than "I expect".

Hes not actually said where he expects us to be. Doubt he could bring himself to say that we'd do well.

Mr Warnock is one of lifes wind up merchants, and if he doesn't get a reaction to a controversial comment he will try something else.
I believe he has the right chairman in charge of him though, imo he enjoys the sound of his own voice more than Warnock does. He's a real prat.

To be fair in the promotion side that Warnock had at SUFC had a very similar look to our own. A big bag of tricks up front... though they might have had 9 strikers. A side that screams goals. I think BD has taken NW's formula and decided to score more than the oposition. Its a new approach for us and will be good to watch.

Last night on the Boro v Sheff Utd game, they showed Warnock's, Beagrie's and Kevin Phillips' predictions for winner, runner-up and play-offs in the league... Warnock had us in the play-offs!

He's ok, until he's talking about us in relation to his own team's performance, then it all goes out the window! :D

I noticed he's predicted Ipswich to finish 2nd. A lot of the Ipswich fans don't agree!

A lot of people have predicted Ipwsich to finish high up the table. I don't know if it's just because of Roy Keane or what!

I presume so. They've got rid of quite a few players that their fans wanted to stay-Rhodes for example.

West Brom will walk the league and Middlesbrough will also go up.

I think we'll finish in mid-table, as will Ipswich.
