As per the transfer forum this could have a couple knock on effects.

There seems to be some confusion as to whether this was meant to be Murillo is being sold or Danilo as stated with them sharing the same agent.

The lad sure likes a sliding tackle and gets stuck in and can play right sided center back and left aswell, Just throws himself at everything to prevent a goal

Can i just say reveal that i get very turned on when i see our club linked with Brazilians? I didn't realise it until a few minutes ago but it hits home like no other link in football.

Was at Palmeiras at the same time as Danilo, which suggests that our Brazilian shopping is perhaps a bit more detailed than we thought. Murillo and Carlos Miguel, now Danilo and Vitao.

FM thinks he's bloody great for what its worth.

I love Brazilians. MORE!

I feel the same way its probably because for most of our lifes we are used to Forest only buying dross from either England or around Europe but since the return to the Prem and especially now with that Ferriera the South American market is his speciality

not ferriera , our head scout in south america is Thomas Federspiel. before we got murillo , there's an article about this last year.

speaking of federspiel , he was at Independiente a few weeks ago.

Nice one - I wasn't aware of Federspeil until now. I just had a look at his LinkedIn profile and he mentions scouting Lucio and Arturo Vidal for Leverkusen in the early 2000's.

He actually reminds me of a younger Wily Boly but with a better range of passing.

Interesting that this Brazilian correspondent with Nathan Joyes also states in this recent piece that he thinks Vitao is the ideal like for like replacement for Boly which is what I was seeing from the YouTube compilation.

This lad reminds me of Omabamidele more than Boly.

Looks like a good option to me, would give us a couple of younger players developing at the position.

Think this move would need to be followed up with another move for a more experienced CB too, on a shorter contract, if we were to move Murilo on.
