Didn't look like much of a foul to me. Keepers are protected far too much these days and he was impeded by two of his own players.

Old fashioned keepers would just jump through anyone in the way.

Keepers are protected too much, but when a player ( Wes ) runs in with his back to the play, knocking another player into keeper and with his arms over him then it's gonna give the ref an easy decision. Not just Morgans fault but I bet he contributed to the 'foul'.

No foul from our angle, but the refs positioning was poor and all he would have seen was 3 blue shirts converge on the gk.
Leicester twat.

Didn't look to be a foul but 9 times out of 10 those sorts of decisions go the way of the goalkeeper.

It didn't really cost us the game though did it?
1. Their 1st was a little lucky. Sure he won the ball in the air (2nd ball at that). Then he lobbed our keeper with his head. He'll never do that again while he's got a hole in his a**e.
2. Our defence went AWAL for the pen. Why on earth was Earnie forced to track back so far? And was it a foul anyway? I'd like to look at it again.
3. We missed scoreable chances. Ade missed two in the 1st half, cohen one in the 2nd. Then there were other chances that a confident team would have gobbled up.
Disappointing wasn't it? 20 odd mile through the cones on the way back didn't help our mood.

He disallowed THAT?

What a twat**** of a ref.

If anyone fouled the keeper it was a red shirt...

IIRC we were playing in blue last night....

You've got to remember Alex this clown booked one of the Barnsley players for fouling one of his team mates!

Their 12th man is quite apt for that tool!

Officially though it would be a foul on an individual can be from any team.

A few seasons back one of our lads got booked during a corner. He used someone to jump higher and got booked for the foul. He put his arms on his shoulders and pushed himself higher, scored but got a booking instead.

It is daft though I do agree

Oh for f***'s sake! The god damned keeper just throws the ball. The bloke nearest to him is a red shirt.

Also what's the keeper doing wearing EXACTLY the same colours as the ref?? I thought there was a rule about this.

(There is:
FIFA LOTG 09-10

Law 4 - The Players' Equipment:
Colours

• Each goalkeeper must wear colours that distinguish him from the other players, the referee and the assistant referees
)

Bastards. All of them.

Let's just hope it doesn't cost us automatic promotion, being absolutely robbed by an incompetent ref.

To be fair it's only the video that makes it look like they were wearing the same colours. In reality Steele was wearing yellow with the ref in green.

I'll take your word on that - I wasn't there, but on all 3 videos they do look VERY similar...

Anyone see the Shrewsbury game against Rochdale ?? The only diffference in their shirts where the yellow strips down the Shrews arms, same blue

There's no foul there, either on the keeper or by Wes. The defender marking Wes is not even looking for the ball, he's watching Wes, and Wes jumps past him and brushes him. If that's a foul, then there should be a foul every time 2 players contest a header, which obviously doesn't happen.

Clearly no foul on the keeper though, he's caught it and dropped it. Extremely bad decision.

Watching the highlights now, the free kick that led to their first goal is an even worse decision! Adebola jumps from a standing start to head the ball whilst their defender jumps from 5 yards BEHIND him, yet Adebola is the one who fouls?! Insane.

Their penalty was 'won' as well. Slight touch on his right leg, so both his legs collapse and his arms fly up - dive.

Also, the ref doesn't disallow our goal until Earnshaw is kicking it, so it's not a foul on Wes he's given. The keeper brings the ball down but never has it in his hands and Dexter actually nicks it away. There's no foul whatsoever.

**** ref.
