He's a winger isn't he?

Indeed. And his first investment? A multi million pound rebuild of the Marchwood training ground. Not only loaded, but head screwed on as well.

Keep an eye on Southampton. 10 points may be too much to overcome this season, but next season I'd expect them to climb back into the Championship and build from there.

Don't know too much about Moses really but if some of the accounts of his ability are true we could do a lot worse. I still think £3m is a massive sum in this division though and with Palace's cash problems I expect we'd be looking at closer to £2m-£2.4m which I'd be happy with.

I also hear he can part defences with ease.

Apparently he moved to England after both his parents were murdered in Nigeria, at least according to wikipedia.

Reading about him he'd tick a lot of the boxes that would make him fit in - Left winger/forward, pacey, young. Fingers crossed on this.

Should there be any truth in this then I imagine - much like all our other transfer dealings - the fee is being grossly exaggerated, and will be structured linked to appearances and / or achievements like promotion etc.

Palarse want £5m+ for him. Our gamble is that Jordan needs cashflow quickly. SO he can have a full £3m now or they can wait until the end of the month and see what the big clubs offer for him, but none of them will put £3m on the table then and they wont be in for him until they done the big deals.

Thought he was on the bench against us. Seem to remember a few wonder goals from him recently. Seems a lot to pay but better than mackie

He came on against us at Selhurst, yes - and looked handy.

Hahahaha bit random but according to football humours we are signing mackie from plymouth for 1mil + blackstock, that would be funny.

No way will Palace get 5 million in their position.Best bid will win, even Warnock has been advertising him to clubs.I see us possibly competeting against the Westham's and Bolton's of this world for his signature but given are position we are still attractive enough.

:D :D :D

Worth a pop, but I very much doubt we'll end up with him.

Could this be a statement of intent for the January transfer window?

lol

A statement of intent: "Well look, we bid for someone!" as January 31st draws to a close with zero business done :D

Probably!
