Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had any details regarding a NFFC supporters club in the USA? I've been searching around and not really found any info. The OS has the following details, but the website seems inactive:
USA Branch
537 Colts Neck Road, Farmingdale, New Jersey 07727, United States.
Website: http://nffcmatchday.com

Anyone have any further contact info?
Cheers!

YOU REDS! :)

Might be worth contacting the club directly. I'm sure they may be able to help

You might find out if you contact one of the admin guys on talkforest who posts under the name Wisco in NM . Can't say for sure but I think he may know something.

I don't know him but I seem to remember him posting something about it a couple or three years ago; he is based in New Mexico.

If there is one it can't be very active. I have supported Forest from this side of the Atlantic for years and I am sure I would have come across it by now if one did exist.

Cheers from Alabama.

Aren't you well down in the boonies?

Any way including you and me there at least five Forest supporters in Alabama! Isn't there another guy on Talkforest who posts as Alabama?

The address is correct, the website is no longer listed in the 2010/11 diary, the chap who runs the branch is Mark Warden, his telephone number is 732-804-8483 and the e-mail address is club@nffcmatchday.com

I'm an expat. Alabama is right I am down in the boonies, real redneck territory, Gulf Coast near Mobile.

I'm around 350 miles north of that up in rocket country.

I'm currently an expat but hoping to be a 'repat' later this year.

Ready for the big game on Monday?

I presume you mean the Auburn Oregon game. I'm not too big a supporter of American Football but will keep an eye on this game and hope for an Auburn victory.

I "repated" once but after 5 years became an expat again!

Did you know there's a tram stop in Nottingham named after you?

How many on here are from the north east maybe we could start one up here? Expat and will remain one could never go back now !

Boston's a nice town and I always enjoy my visits there. It has quite a European feel to it and I think I could live there.

Down here though it really is a foriegn country. I have done over ten years and that's enough!

Also some of the political trends in the States are begining to concern me.

You all seem to be expats then, you guys know any yanks that are forest fans?

One that posts on here is Buckeye Red. He lives in Ohio and if I remember the story right is a Forest fan due to having stuck a pin into a newspaper as a method of choosing a team and came up with Forest. Maybe he will come on here and tell us if I have got it all wrong.

I'm up in Keene, NH so not far away!
I moved here about a year ago, after meeting my lovely Yank missus over in England and yet to meet any fellow fans. After being a season ticket holder for 10 years it sure does suck not being able to go to games!

Nearly. I became a Forest fan in 1976 after seeing an FA Cup match on tv, Forest-Posh. It was not a great match, but I got to see the great John Robertson for the 1st time. I was quite young and completely fell in love with Forest. Did a bunch of research and began following the club. At that time, my only real source was the weekly scores in the newsaper over here. Then Forest became great and I was able to see them occasionally on tv which was an unbelievable thrill. I have been able to make an annual pilgrimage to Nottingham (love the city) and the City Ground for a quite a while now. On another thread I was saying what an incredible feeling it is once a year to walk across Trent Bridge and see the City Ground. I still get chills.
It is very true when people say you don't pick the club, the club picks you.
