Unfair fixture schedules

I am really annoyed that Norwich play after us. I think this gives them an unfair advantage.

They will know our result so they know what they have to do. For example they could be drawing with 5 mins left, if they know they need to win to stay up they are going to throw the kitchen sink at reading. GK up for corners, that sort of thing. If they played before us they might think a point was a decent result.

Also Birmingham can seal promotion on Saturday. If they do the game takes on a lot less meaning for Reading. If they both played at the same time Reading would have to go for it in case Birmingham slipped up.

It's happened two weeks running. The FA recognise it is a problem as they have a rule for the last day of the season that every one should kick of at the same time. Why do them assume the last day is the only day that matters? The promotion/relegation race could be decided this week.

Another example of the FA being controlled by the TV companies.

The other side of it could be seen that they might feel the pressure of knowing they have to win if we've already one! Might work to our advantage!

Swing an roundabouts though. Seeing other results piles massive pressure on them.

They would do that anyway. All the relegation sides will be playing to win their games.

Yeah but teams pull a result out the bag when they really need to. I accept they need a win whatever the circumstances but the point about Reading still stands. They could field a weakened side or at least have less interest. If they still had a chance of automatic you would be guaranteed their best performance.

It does make a difference. Look at Coventry since they got safe for proof.

It's a variable that shouldn't be there.

Hang on a minute, Norwich played on the Sunday after we'd beaten Coventry on the Saturday, but they still went out and got beat by their arch rivals!

If we win, it won't matter a jot.

So we should try and do that.

Which is what we should've tried to do even if they were playing at the same time as us.

So it doesn't really matter.

So if you are the Norwich manager and it's 1-1, you have a corner with two minutes left. If you don't know the Forest/Barnsley results that point is precious. It could keep you up on the last day. You don't take any risks.

If Forest and Barnsley have both won and you already know the point is useless. You bring on five strikers, send 11 men up for the corner and possibly score. If you concede it doesn't matter a point was no good anyway.

Seeing as they're two points behind Barnsley a draw wouldn't be good enough....

If we were playing at the same time, they'd probably still know how we were doing though....

I think following last weekend results , i think if anything , it's an disadvantage for norwich as norwich players definitely felt the pressure and choked.

We win and Norwich will feel they have a mountain to climb - 6 points behind and knowing they can't slip up even a little bit. Our advantage I think - as long as we win.

It does swing around in roundabouts!! :)

Some times we have had this advantage/disadvantage, not necessarily this season but we have has before!

Its just that Norwich are looking the big threat to go down so they are most likely on TV for there relegation battle and now the placement of Reading at the end of the season! ;D

They shouldnt be able to manipulate things ! c**ts!

Yeah. If they feel there's a likelyhood that people are going to get largered up and start scrapping then what right have they got to change things.

Doesn't make a difference if the bouncers lock the doors then let thug's in the back armed with weapons on innocent couples enjoying a pre game drink who just happen to be Forest fans. especially when one's om off duty copper who when he rings for back up the police cant get in as said bouncer has barricaded the door!

Ignore Jack, Piotr. He has a problem with authority and it's just taking the bait by questioning it.

Norwich and Reading on Monday is nothing to do with the Police. It's TV camera's. Our kick off is changed but Reading and Birmingham's kick off should still be at the same time.

i just hope we pick up all three points end then the pressure really is off us, but i just know with bily in charge, the players wont let up, im for one really impressed about how hes got the players coming out for second half's of games, i just wish we were quicker to settle down in the first half's...any news on tyson, robbie or any other injury worries ??? I think we can get all three points from a poor blackpool side :) i just wish i was going, despite the early kick off meaning away fans have to start travelling before they have gone to bed tonight !
