As a replacement for Doyle.
A mate of mine reckons there could be something in this.

Yeah. Like Blackstock for starters.mouldy said:Saying that Reading could aim a lot higher than Tyson with the amount of money they have available.
mouldy said:Well it would mean we could hold out for a big fee since Doyle went for a hefty fee. He isn't worth alot though I would take £1m personally that seems like a fairly good deal. Would miss his pace but can't see him featuring a lot when having to compete with the Earnshaws, McGoldricks and Adebolas to compete with. Not to mention the chance of Blackstock being part of that aswell.

And Man City? Yes, his problem is getting on the field not scoring once he's there.weasel said:What's all this can't finish talk?
I think it's a myth. He can't stay fit, his first touch is sometimes woeful but if he was fit for the whole season and he played as an out and out striker I could definitly see him getting to the hallowed 20 mark.
Finishes at Brighton away, and a close range volley at home stick in my mind. I'd actually say Earnshaw is guilty of missing more clear cut chances.
