A: Didn't like the way Earnie waved to everbody when he wa substituted, as if he was saying goodbye to the City Ground

B: Anyone know what the three goons did in C block that led to a scuffle with the stewards then removal from the match?

Earnie played very well yesterday; he worked hard and was unlucky not to score. When subbed, he was rightly applauded by our fans and because of the man he is, he thanked us for the appreciation. There is absolutely nothing else behind it!

Didn't like the way Earnie kept back flicking the ball yesterday, a training ground trick that rarely brings any dividend on the pitch.

The one that he did pull off - to Raddy who then slide ruled it through to Ando, though? Jizztastic football, that.

They used to rave about it on MOTD when Cantona did it for Man Ure, they never repeated the 9 times out of 10 it went out for a goal kick/throw in/to the opposition.

The funny thing about those flicks is, there was one where he tried it and everybody moaned at him... but what the hell else are you meant to do when you're sprinting towards a ball going off the pitch at at a funny angle and at about his chest height? :D He could have lobbed it backward 20 yards over the heads of any opposing players in the vicinity, but that would have been totally the wrong thing to do, so he tried to flick it fowards towards their goal. No harm in that whatsoever. Ok, there might have been a couple he tried at the wrong time, but sometimes people need to think about the situation in hand!

If we're comfortably in the lead in a game I'm quite happy for him to try it if one or two end up like the (quote dellaroc) jizztastic move we saw on saturday :D

Agree fully, people complain when it doesn't come off but if you never try it you'll never get it right and he doesn't do it needlessly. He'll try it when it'll be a good/dangerous ball or if there is no better option on.
