Two little questions

1) Why was our away form after christmas our 'true away form' as I've seen it described and our home record the false one?

2) If there was no transfer window would the forum be more rational and balanced or would we have to put up with the wild swings from we're signing everybody and pissing the league through to 'nobody is coming and now perch has left I'm ripping up my season ticket as we're going down' for the whole year rather than just for a few months?

My not inconsiderable experience of forums would suggest that it would be a hive of negativity regardless.

Sprinkled with a good dose of silliness. Because without humour, we'd be like all the other sh1t forums out there.

don't forget that although the transfer window closes we do get the "emergancy loan window" opening a week later (i think it's a week?) so expect a week of threads about which prem players we have 100% signed on loan and then 3 months of people complaining that they haven't signed... and then we get the January transfer window which is always a hive of activity

I demand my mood swing, and I demand it NOW!!!

I shall probably be too drunk to care, courtesy of my pre-match visit to the Southbank...

1) Some people cant deal with any other perspective than negative doom and so will spin every positive into a negative. Every silver lining has a cloud!

2) It seems far worse this year, but then for the past 4-5 years we have always made signings by this point in the summer. It is staggering how some people are able to convince themselves that a team that finished 3rd last year is suddenly relegation material.

1. no its isnt our true form but take our last 20 games from the previous 2 seasons under billy and we have achieved a similar points total of around 25 points so i would believe that to be our true form with a slight surge of form in the middle of last season, it works out at about 1.25 points per game which as I said is good enough for mid table this season. people seem to forget that its not just the fans that think this billy has also said that the squad as it stands hasn't got enough depth to replicate last season so whos knows the squad better the fans or billy?

another thing to note is our form dropped just after the last window closed, at this time every other side other than ourselfs and cardiff added players making them stronger and levelling them up with our squad resulting imho in the turn in away form , now these same teams have added yet more faces so could well be even stronger this season.

I dont expect us to loose every away game, nor do I expect us to continue our home form Im expecting us to have a season similar to that of the hart/kinear season where we won as many as we lost and drew about the same aswell
