When those 2 tits doing the Poznan wake up this morning and realise their club have chucked away their CLplace next season and won’t be able to compete for the best available talent they might not be dancing for joy.

Coming up to the last game of the season Sheffield Utd have a GD of -66. If they get beat by 4 clear goals by Spurs on Sunday they will take Derby’s record of shame so as it’s the (end of) season of goodwill I’m hoping the blades finish the season avoiding a hiding.

Has anyone thought that had the Premier League had its way a few years ago Arsenal and City would be having the dream of all dreams 39th game in a week or so in Tokyo or Seattle or Bejing or Saudi Arabia

Even if they do that would be a mere footnote in Derby's historical humiliation.

Terrible idea, which FIFA bizarrely appear keen to resurrect, but totally worth it if they'd made Liverpool fly halfway round the world for a 12.30 Saturday kickoff.

Richard Masters - what a f***ing surprise, not - is keen to resurrect this bollocks idea for the North American market (i.e. the USA).

Whatever the Americanism is for taking his 39th game and f***ing himself up the arse sideways with it is, he can do that.

And if he gets his way the whole spirit of the game as we know it will be destroyed.
Football for me is on a knife edge: I’ve renewed my season ticket for next season, but if the clusterfuck that is Forest off-field shenanigans continue it may be the last time I do.
I listened to the Forest Focus podcast with Henry Winter as guest.
He is a sports journalist I respect.
He was adamant: don’t leave the City Ground, and stop being so aggressive over refs are corrupt victim statements.

Came across a good quote today about the 2024 Premier League champions:
“Man City winning the league four times in a row is a serious achievement to be fair, it’s up there with Lance Armstrong winning seven tours on the bounce”

Right behind wolves, get it scrapped. Doubt it will get passed, but would be amazing if it did.

Apparently CBS pushing for the first 2 opening games of the season to be played in the USA as part of the £2b + tv deal. No doubt backed up by the American owners of Liverpool, Man U, arsenal and Chelsea who would be fighting over themselves to be part of it. Opening game tagged onto the summer tour.

Same owners who also want to scrap season tickets so each game is priced individually. Tossers!

VAR won't be scrapped as the big clubs will vote to retain it and keep on getting the decisions their way.

It’s the six tourist clubs getting decisions, content for sky and the amount of money / contracts already put into it. Be amazing if it was scraped but won’t happen.

Sky trying to build up ManUre versus Saudi as a game with consequences. One thing is for certain, there is no way when this fixture is next played that Howe and Ten Hag are both the managers.

3 Forest legends on pundit duty:
Roy Keane, for being a midfield bastard;
Andy Cole, for being completely bloody useless;
Wayne Rooney, for relegating D*rby.

Didn’t know where to put this, but it made me laugh. Something for us to look forward to as we move to a new stadium and ‘maximise revenue’

That was the most small time thing I've seen in a long time. I couldn't care less if us winning a game meant Derby won the title. But then that's typical of much of Britain - would rather drag someone down to their level than raise themselves up.
