This is getting stupid now, I'm sick and tired of forest dragging their heels, we haven't signed anyone since nigel bought the club, I blame mark arthur. They are all the spawn of the devil and will remain so until they announce signings at which point I will claim I have always loved our board and suddenly remember the signings they have made before!
 
Nottingham Forest want to sign Newcastle striker Leon Best on a permanent deal. Burnley, Crystal Palace and Swansea are also interested but only want to take the 24-year-old on loan. BBC SPORT

I can't believe he's still only 24. We must have been linked to him every window since he was 12.
 
I see Jon Parkin has gone to Cardiff. That can only be a good thing as he is gash and it must mean that Bothroyd or Chopra is leaving.

Agreed. Parkin is the sort of signing that a side who wanna scrap their way to victory would buy. V gash, and not the sort of player that will get Cardiff promoted, or indeed play in the Prem. The way its going Cardiff will be lucky for top 6 now, suckers!

This is the son of the Leon Best that we were associated with all those years ago - it just happens he called his son LEON - (vain Bar-steward)

If he was a Forest fan like you're suggesting then he should be looking for a move down in Australia for him - (Queensland preferably)

id like to see giles barnes come in on loan he his fit only a sub 4 west brom and out of contract in the summer , i went to the leicester v west brom match in the cup a couple of months ago and he was there best player turned bruno berner in and out all night and hes a lot quicker than i thought and played 90 min
