Majewski
7) Where do you think you will finish this season?
1st of course, we have just been lulling you into a false sense of security, we will pounce now and go on an 8 game winning streak and finish champions. It's not like Newcastle have ever thrown away a league lead is it? I'd love it we came first , love it love it love it...
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 3rd and a playoff final with Fester
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Newcastle; depends on what Mike Ashley's plans are for next season, you will probably be taken over by a consortium headed by sherah , a bit like that premierhsip club down the road from you with Nialle Quinn. Us we will start the premiership stronlgy, be top by Christmas and win the league by Easter, European glory beckons once more and Nigel Doughty is hailed as the saviour of mankind, either that or down by christmas as we still haven't found a left back

2) Which player should we fear most?
Blackstock and Earnshaw are always a threat

Nolan has had a very good season
4) Who is your worst player?

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?
I believe Chris Cohen will be a Premier League player within the next few years
7) Where do you think you will finish this season?
Third
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?
Newcastle will go back up to the PL and will finish anywhere between 8th and 17th for the next few years I'd guess. Us? I'd love us to get back to the PL, although it is tough, just ask the likes of Cardiff and Sheff U

Few Questions...

1) What will the outcome of the match be?

2-1 to the Barcodes

2) Which player should we fear most?

Earnie will probably be on the bench so I'll go for Anderson.

3) Which player do you fear most?

Andy Carroll, in case I meet him in a dark alley.

4) Who is your worst player?

We don't have one, they are all of equal near brilliance.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Alan Smith. Committed, yes, quality - sufficient for this league but no longer for the Prem since his leg-garrrr injury.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

Majewski will be in the Prem soon. with or without us.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?

Douglas Hurd

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

17th

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?

Hopefully, promotion, then a series of years of yo-yo
ing before Football is banned in 2021 for being 'too rough' for the political correctness brigade.

1) What will the outcome of the match be? This will be one of five possibilities. Win, Loss. Draw. Postponed or Abandoned. My feeling is that the game will be abandoned in the eighteenth minute due to flash flooding.
2) Which player should we fear most? If they get into the side, King Kong or Dracula. If not, rumour has it that James Perch has a nasty contagious cold sore.
3) Which player do you fear most? Satan or Christiano Ronaldo. Does Kevin Keegan still play for you?
4) Who is your worst player? Gregor Robertson, the swan mugging twat. Also Marlon King.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Marlon Harewood.
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? I wouldn't be a look out for anyone, it's an uttterly crap job.
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? In May.
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? Same time.
9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Looking into my crystal balls, I think the Geordies will have an enormous fan base but will continue to let them down. Forest will remain on the banks of the Trent, at least for the time being.

Alright Scoot. Here goes... It's not pretty.

1) What will the outcome of the match be?
Think most sane Forest fans are going up there with a feeling of trepidation. I'm dreading the match itself, but it should be a good day/night out until kick off. 3-0 to Newcastle.

2) Which player should we fear most?
Give him a chance and Earnshaw could hurt you. Majewski will need to play well, watch for his slide rule passes and horrific attempts at tackles.

3) Which player do you fear most?
Routledge could be a nightmare if he's facing our "left back". I've never rated Carroll, if it were not for his height he wouldn't be a footballer, so he's guaranteed a hatrick.

4) Who is your worst player?
Worst seems a harsh word, but take your pick from Moussi, who can also be our best to be fair to him, and Perch, average everywhere.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?
I'll stick with Carroll, despite his goals tally suggesting otherwise. Hope he doesn't prove me wrong.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?
As already suggested, Chris Cohen can possibly make the step up. Obviously, the Pole, Majewski is a cut above when he's on form.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?
3rd. 4th if we don't sort the away form. You lot, Blackpool and S****horpe should look good for some points, but the way we are away at the minute...

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?
Top. By a mile.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?
The Toon will struggle in the lower half of the Prem next year, akin to a regular Blackburn style season, before getting their act together and getting a proper striker that's not Carroll or Ameobi. Then they might re-establish themselves as a decent Prem club. Although a playoff win would be rather nice, you do have to play two of a possible three games at a stadium that isn't your own, so we'll take your champions crown next year.

1) What will the outcome of the match be?

I think we will get a draw, 1-1.

2) Which player should we fear most?

Majewski, if he plays well, we play well.

3) Which player do you fear most?

Routledge, as we have not got a left back!

4) Who is your worst player?

Not sure about worst but Moussi and Perch tend to be the weakest links.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Smith and Butt are both well past their best, so either of them.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

Chris Cohen, he is only going to get better. Not a flashy player but he has so many of the attributes required by a player at the top level.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?

3rd, we are well behind the baggies and way in front of Leicester.

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

1st.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?

For us? Probably defeat in the play offs (as its a lottery) but more progression next season followed by promotion within -1-2 years, hopefully. After that we are likely to become a yo-yo side but I cannot see us sinking back to the dark days of league 1 within my lifetime.

For you? After promotion it will be a struggle initially but you should be a decent mid table prem side within 2-3 years. However, I think Hughton will struggle in the Prem so I foresee a change of a manager in order to achieve that.

1) What will the outcome of the match be?

An interesting one, given that this is the first game Forest have played in an age where there is no weight of expectation to succeed.

2) Which player should we fear most?

Camp - nine out of your ten best shots will be fruitless, even if you win by three goals. Failing that, Cohen on his day has a bigger engine and heart than anyone on the division. The talent of any of our flair/threat players can be countered with the right tactics but you can't shut Cohen down if he doesn't want you to (and he's in position). When we bring on our subs - Tyson, McGugan or McLeary they'll either win us the game or run about to no effect. I wouldn't fear the obvious, I suppose.

3) Which player do you fear most?

Nolan's your Cohen, solid and that. I've no particular fear of any Toon player, none has made that much of an impression. Routledge can be a bit of a bastard when he's in the mood.

4) Who is your worst player?

McGoldrick, relatively speaking. Others have less talent but talent doesn't win you leagues or we'd have done so already.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Couldn't say. Carrol has disappointed me relative to what I've heard prior to watching him.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

Majewski is the obvious choice there - but I'm going to say Morgan, to start a debate and because I think he matches the club according to success at the time - if we continue to improve he'll keep pace.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?

Third or second.

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

First or second. Losing your home record to us could be your 'Derby' moment. And we've f*** all to lose in this match compared to any other game, as I've said. Odds are you'll be Champions though, and deserved if not very exciting ones.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?

Premiership football, I daren't speculate how long for each club, or when for Forest.

Survival will be tough in the Prem for you. But who thought Stoke and Hull could cut it when they went up? For a sustained run you will need excellent management - means more than splashing cash. Is Hughton up to it?
For us, I'd love to see us promoted through the play-offs, but whichever team goes up with WBA and Newcastle will be the whipping-boys - none of them are anywhere near good enough. Many fans think give it another year - but who's to say we will challenge next year? 3 clubs with parachute payments will make the Championship as tough as ever. So if we strike lucky in the play-off lottery, you have to take it, and face the consequences

Newcastle will struggle next season if they keep the squad they have already (seeing as it's the same squad that got you relegated!). Houghton will have to be on his A-game in the tranfer market and be very, very shrewd in his signings.

As for us, if we were to go up we would also struggle (Let's hope I'm proven wrong!). A very young squad have already over achieved this season.

Next season your gaffer will be gone at some point.

Unless you pull your fingers out in preseason you might as well start planning for a return to this league.

It will be a big wake up call when the likes of Fulham and Brum put 3 past you. Alot of you, like most football fans, live in the clouds too much and a lot of you still think Newcastle are a force. Shearer has gone, Given has gone and your team isn't together enough to make your way through the Prem.

The players you have signed are good at this level and ( like Forest ) unless you address some key areas you will be main rivals with Hull, Burnley, Wolves, West Ham, Wigan and Bolton.

Not being bitter, and I have links to many Geordies to base my opinion on, you fellas will struggle for a while.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?
Newcastle will go up but will struggle in the Premier league unless they change the manager for a start. I think 90% of managers in the championship would gain promotion with Newcastle's squad but i reckon Hughton will be found out in the Premier League.

Forest: If we get promoted i reckon we will have a good crack at surviving the first season but i think it will be close and we could well drop straight back down. I'd take a season in the Premier League right now though :) If we have another season in the championship then i think we will have a similar season to this one, with us flirting with automatic promotion.

Making my first trip up to St James's Park on Monday and can't wait! :panthers: Good luck to the Toon for next season.

2) Which player should we fear most?

Majewski is he is on form. Blackstock also has a good scoring record.

3) Which player do you fear most?

Gutierrez.

4) Who is your worst player?

McGoldrick, Moussi or Adebola.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Alan Smith, still hasn't scored in almost three seasons for you!

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

A season of struggle for both next season but both will re-establish themselves as good Premiership teams in time.

1) What will the outcome of the match be?

Heart says battling, narrow away win. Head says comfortable home win. Or maybe Forest'll draw for the first time in 3 months.

2) Which player should we fear most?

Probably Majewski.

3) Which player do you fear most?

Alan Smith. The shame of him scoring against us when he's failed against everybody else (particularly if it's the winner) could be too much to take.

4) Who is your worst player?

Probably Perch (if he plays). If not, Chambers is a weak link at full-back.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Shola Ameobi.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

Chris Cohen. For me, he's like a left-footed Steven Gerrard, without the irritating Scouse accent and penchant (or should that be punch-ant?) for bar brawling.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?

3rd, almost certainly. Only a massive change in form one way or the other can change that.

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season?

Promoted, but West Brom are too close for me to confidently say you'll be champions.

9) What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?

I think Newcastle's biggest challenge will be staying up next year. As people have already pointed out, you've got almost the same squad the came down, and they're either too old or too young to cope. Major overhaul needed methinks. Get that right though, and you could be the new Wigan! ;)

As for Forest, I think promotion will come sooner or later. However, I'm not confident that we would avoid an immediate return to the Championship. What we do while in the Premiership will determine whether we become like West Brom and immediately challenge for promotio, or start of the whole financial implosion cycle again.

To be honest mate, this comment you have made is typical.

We don't think we're a force at all, if we go up we'd be happy with 17th next season. Come on our forum and ask that question if you must.

This myth that goes about of Newcastle fans think their team should be doing this and doing that and finishing in the top 4 every year and winning cups all the time is exactly that, a myth.

www.nufc-forum.com

Join and ask the question "what position will you be happy with next year should you get promoted" and you'll see that Newcastle fans don't think they should be flying high all the time.

Avoiding relegation will have us all happy.

Before anyone argues, show me a Newcastle fan that thinks we should be winning this and that.

It' a media myth and one that lazy football fans pick up on and believe without actually asking the genuine Newcastle fan.

So sorry, i feel embarrassed to have to say this, but don't believe everything you hear in the papers:(lol

Cheers for the comments everyone

I know it's quite typical because all my Mums side of the family are Geordies. I speak regulary to my cousins up there and when I do visit I get this feeling from alot of their friends too.

Up until the relegation the expectation was European football, and from what I get from the people I know up there a mid table finish is expected next season too ? Maybe you think different ?

It's the same 'Big club syndrome' that nearly ruined Leeds. I understand Mike Ashley f**ked you around a hell of a lot though.

I go on what family and family friends talk about.

If you win the league, and you probably will, then well done, you got results when you weren't playing well and hammered teams when you did play well.

I do think your manager will struggle at Prem level and probably will be gone come Christmas. The players you have signed are very good at this level but may struggle to make the step up, although you do have a better squad then us.
