Tonights Attendance

Ive just been looking on nffc retail on the OS and it seems that in most areas of the ground there are still plenty of seats left. I'm quite suprised by this. In recent years playing the Blunts has become somewhat of a local derby. I would have thought we should have nearly sold out by now. And the Blunts dont seem to have sold many of their tickets for tonights game either. At the moment its looking like a 21-22000 crowd tonight which is pretty poor for our position and the nature of the game i think. This should be a game that gets nearly a full house.

Does anybody else think this or is it just me that sees Sheff U as a local derby?

A local derby?!?!?!?! Not for me. Sheffield Wednesday for us and then Leeds United. No other games come close to those.

Don't think we'll take too many tonight, expensive month with all the midweek games and a lot of people are annoyed at the way we've been playing. Saturday was a big improvement but Bristol City aren't that great are they.

Annoying yes but a local derbie ????? Not for me either. As for the gate im afraid with recent results, the price and Champions League Football on the box the fairweather fans who were there a fortnight ago against QPR will probably stay at home. A gate of about 21k for me

pretty obvious the attendance is going to be low when this is the 4th game in a short period of time, is midweek and we havent taken many points from our last few games

I'd put them above Leicester in terms of local rivalry and theyre certainly more annoying.

I would have expected more.

With the history and tough, physical games between us I'd have thought about 22k would attend.

I'm going because I absolutley hate Sheffiled Utd with so much passion. The majority of their fans I've met are world class tits, I don't like their style of football and was over the moon when Tevez popped up and screwed them over.

Pancake day, The Brits, Champions League footy all add up to low attendance never mind it being on a freezing cold Tuesday with possible snow forecast later!

I know everyone hates Leeds as a default, but they're hardly that local to you...

Sheffield to Leeds is about 41 miles.
Sheffield to Nottingham is about 43 miles.

I happen to hate Sheff Utd as much as I hate Derby, maybe even more so. That's more to do with the nature of the club than anything though.

I forgot to say - I was born in Leeds and lived in Leeds so always been a big game for me. It's a Yorkshire derby anyway. Some of our fans dislike Leeds rather a lot, mainly due to them stealing our players back in't day.

I've just checked and Bramall Lane to Elland Road 40.72 miles and Bramall Lane to your place is 39.41 miles! Nearly the same!
But yeah, no other games come close to Wednesday and Leeds for me and never will!

Some Blades fans obviously read what I wrote earlier.

To the 2 Sheff Utd fans that gave me a thick lip and cut my eye up in the toilets at Hooters, next time you jump a Forest fan in some toilets with his knob hanging out make sure you do your homework on who he is drinking with.
Now I'm a lover not a fighter, but when you punch me in the back of the head and I piss on my new pilmsoles expect a reaction.
Now my mowhawked attacker was lucky to run when he did, as my friend who was taking a crap at the time didn't responed well to his blonde friend punch the back of my head. Needless to say you got what you deserve when said crapping friend pulled up his jeans and introduced you to Mr Left fist and his best friend Mr Right Fist.

Now my lip and eye should clear up, but your nose, will now always be bent, and remember my friend, when you look at your ear, wonder why you needlessly started on someone take a wee wee and you would never have had your pirate earring pulled out.

I now really hate Sheffield United.

One ran upstairs, the other got what he deserved.

My head hurts too. I'm not handy with the twins, and would have got turned over if he wasn't there to be fair. He cleaned his sheriffs badge up before the game though.lol

But how do you scrap when you lad is hanging out your trousers ?:nowink:

That was as I was leaving for TBI before about 5 ish, and literally lasted about a minute or so.

I can't say anything what may or may not have went on afterwards.
