In what is the season of sharing I thought it best to share now what I have heard about a potential loan move from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window and travelling fans will have a chance to cast an eye over the player on boxing day.

Tom Cleverley's loan runs out with Watford in January and he is also out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season. As it stands Watford want to extend the 20 year olds loan up to the end of the season and Newcastle United are also considering a move but with the Reds pushing on up the table now they want to take the youngster on loan with a view to offering him a contract at the end of the season when his deal with Manchester United ends. As Cleverley is under 24 Forest would still be required to pay a fee for the player but how much that might turn out to be is anyones guess.
Cleverley made his debut for Watford against Forest in the Hornets 4-2 win at the City Ground earlier in the season and has gone on to make 19 appearances scoring seven times and is considered by many to have been Watfords stand out player this season after Tommy Smith left for Portsmouth. The youngster has featured five times for the England U21's team but has yet to score for them.
Billy Davies has mentioned bringing in a goal scoring midfielder a few times already and Cleverley is proving to be one of the hottest young English players in the game, or at least of those available for transfer.
The biggest stumbling block may come if Manchester United intend to keep Cleverley. In this situation they will most likely want to keep the Basingstoke born player at Watford knowing they can't afford to offer the player a long term deal due to financial woes giving them time to tie him to a new deal. Cleverley himself may also prefer a move to Newcastle if anywhere at all with good friend and former room mate Danny Simpson currently at the North East club.
