Hope someone can help you mate, I hate it when pissed up twats that cant handle there pop try and show off without thinking. Have you thought of asking the train company for cctv if your serious about catching them? I remember on the train to Man City last year a load of pricks singing bnp songs when there was an asian bloke on the train, if only they could see what idiots they sounded like. The sad thing was there forest shirts were clear to be seen.

Sounds like a horrible ordeal. The train company will likely have CCTV, but they won't show it to you. They will only show it to the police. Contact them.

The only way you will make them stop and think about what they did is to report it to the Police and they will get the CCTV and investigate.

It is a disgrace but by telling us on here you will of course get sympathy and support for what is a disgusting act but it will not stop them doing it again and next time they might escalate their violence and intimidation.

Vermin, yes, but if you don't report it through the correct authorities, and choose to take your own action it drags you down to their level.

If you choose to do nothing, you are essentially endoring their behaviour. Going to the police is the only option.

Unfortunately, EVERY football club has its element of "supporters" who disgrace the team they claim to support. Nottingham Forest is no exception. Most Nottingham Forest fans, and the club itself, will want to see these hooligans brought to justice - especially for the reason you just mentioned.

If you've seen something on the train yourself then contact the police - no matter how irrelevant you think your information may be.

It's a tricky one. As you say, wading in is likely to inflame the situation, and you hear of too many good samaritans killed in the corssfire nowadays.
