To all you who wanted Calderwood out

You'd have had Lee Camp, Chris Porter, Chris Burke (all pretty much done deals when he was sacked) + a another centre half available for the QPR game on Saturday, how ironic.

But would we have won against Norwich, Man City, Plymouth, Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday?

Doubtful.

But you might of beat us lol

Personally I'd rather have the League points.

The only downside is that I won't get an opportunity to tell Rio that he's been merked this season.

If if and buts were and's and whens.... Hindsight is a fabulous thing, and most of us have 20/20 hindsight vision!!

The fault isn't really with Davies or even Calderwood but our clubs policy of making shit last minute offers in the off chance the club is desperate to sell and we snap up a bargain. It worked once when we got Paul Evans for £25K - hardly a world beater but he did the job we needed, I don't think its worked since.

There's lots of ifs - if the ref had sent Bywater off, if Tyson had missed the penalty, if ......

There's only the fact that Derby won.

To be honest while losing to Derby is hardly ever a pleasant experience I'll take it rather than see our confidence shattered by Ronaldo and Rooney etc. tearing our defence a new ass hole. I saw them beat us 8-1 at home once - I don't want to see it again. I think that the Man Ure in the FA cup will be a different prospect than in the league cup.

If we had kept Calderwood, we might have a few new players - but we'd still have a manager hopelessly out of his depth.
