Until you cross the A52 you are now Derby and I reserve the right to hate you with the irrational feelings that our local rivalry brings. I hope you lose every game you are in charge of the sheep. I don't care for your personal success but will happily gloat at your failure until such a time that you leave/are sacked and finally severe your links with the sheep.

Presumably at the same press conference he also spoke fondly of supporting (as a child) and later playing for Forest. That doesn't go away.

A professional relationship with a club is totally different to our very personal ones.

If he had been offered the Forest job and turned it down for them, I would understand people hating him.
