Last season it was painfully obvious that the squad didn't have enough depth, and Billy reckoned the failure to strengthen in January cost us promotion.

So here we are with Tyson, Adebola, McCleary, & Smith all told they can leave.

Perch has gone, and there's rumours that Garner & McGugan might be off as well.

And we've signed...... no one!

What the Hell are the TAP playing at?

Swansea now reckon that we haven't even made a new offer for Pratley!

Does Pleat realise that you have to actually pick up the phone and call people, not just sit there waiting for it to ring?

Surely new players need to be in already and training with the squad before the season starts - assuming we're going to have any new players that is.

I agree with Billy - the TAP is complete and utter gash!

The lack of news is hardly encouraging, as is the lack of new faces at the training ground.

Its still early though. If the season was about to begin then fair enough, but we're still over a month away and players could come in on any day.

No club goes round telling fans thier transfer targets in general- it comes from the media.Forest are no different :)

Yeah I know, but it's just frustrating, most other clubs seem to have made signings already and announced them, we're in the dark.

They have, but personally i havent seen anyone i'd want us to sign go anywhere.

For all we know (im sure this is the case), the AP are very hard at work negotiating with players and clubs for the right players for us.

We'd all like have signed players by now, but sadly its not that easy and it doesnt work like that.

It just requires abit of patience :)

Spot on hulk. But this happens every transfer window and somebody says that and it continues :D

Anyway, not many Championship clubs have signed players. Boyd to Boro is the only significant one? Most transfers so far have been the lower league clubs snapping up free transfers. That's what usually happens whilst Championship clubs are negotiating!

We've already signed Pratley, Rindarodonski and Croukkh. We're just waiting to announce the signings at the best moment - e.g, when the full allocation of season tickets have sold.

It could be pointed out we've already signed a pole this summer, I think his name was raddy...there are none so blind.......

The TAP did a terrible job last summer didn't it, shite players signed, over paid for them, gunter waster of money, camp complete shit, dex donkey, McKenna useless old man, anderson clearly not value for money.........Jesus dude chill, the window has been open a week lol we've lost one player (who I'd bet you were slatting as not being good enough after the play-offs) and we've signed one.......

It could just be that the AP believes there isn't any player available that is any better then what we already have.

Sure we need reinforcements, but I'd rather we bought in someone we actually need rather than panic and end up with some shitty lower-league nobody (I'm looking at you, Derby)

Exactly. I cant think of any real big championship moves, bar boyd. The rest are as you say generally free transfers like clint hill.

People are judging the AP on something thats not even happened yetlol

Transfer season just isn't transfer season without these unfounded and knee-jerk articles moaning about the TAP. All we need now is a Neil Danns rumour, and we have a complete transfer window!

Leon Best rumours are good, but they were never the same as the aforementioned Neil Danns ones. It was the way that Danns himself said he didn't want to come here, but it didn't put us off putting all our eggs in the Danns basket each transfer window.

They were some jape-tastic times. He mustve felt stalked by our club.

It still amazes me that colin hasnt snapped him up yet
