Anyone else feel Billy is doing to much talking in the press at the moment?.The Nigel Clough situation is getting embarrassing. Treating to go to court. He should have just whacked him one back and be done with it. He tells the press he dropped Radi because he's unsettled because of contract talks. Surely talking to the press only makes it worse. This is the most important part of the season and the less distractions the better.

While I agree with you, I don't think it's all he's doing - I think the power struggle between him and the transfer panel is a big factor too. Hopefully the result will be one that benefits the club.

I think him talking to the press is very clever.

I doubt Raddy is that unsettled!! This is merely making the message to the board clear as for the Clough situation get him done for as much as possible. If what happened is true this needs to be made public show what a twat the guy is.

This will all work out. The fact is the whole media thing is down to the lack of transfer activity and knowing Billy that is what he is trying to make clear to the public. As was suggested to him on the radio on saturday him not having control (as he ironically keeps pointing out) over transfers gives him insurance if things go wrong. He can turn to everyone and say "well if I could've made some signings in january things would've been a lot different"
