Tijjani Reijnders

You can't take much from pre season but it is notable Glasner has been playing McAtee as a central midfielder, pretty much where Reijnders would play. You would assume he wants one of the midfielders to be attacking more often than not, and good on the ball.
Saw a clip of Darren Fletcher on some podcast and he was saying that he'd spoke with a Palace player, and they were saying that he likes to have his best passer of the ball as one of his deeper 2 midfielders, so they can control the play in a QB type role.

The Palace player in question was Dean Henderson. He went on to say that he lives in hope of his phone pinging, to read we've signed Wharton for £80m, and that if that was the only signing we made between now and end of transfer window, he could live with it.

Two problems with this transfer.

1. Man City need to be open about selling him.
2. The player wants to come and play for Forest.

Until those are resolved, then its just paper-talk.

I think Henderson tipped him off on the Glasner move to Forest, it was another name I cannot remember that gave the lowdown on the midfielder attributes.

At least you've saved me an hour of listening to Fletcher as I was planning to stick that pod on later

I think the difference between you and a happy clapper is that you ground your optimism in reality.

No end of time when I've been viewing something pessimistically, you'll step in, give me some other perspectives on it, often grounded in the reality of situations, and I step back and think, "Yeah, he's right." I'm thinking of things a little bit too detached or emotionally.
You're too kind Alf. Especially as away from this place I'm an insufferable, moaning old c**t.

Watch him play his way into city's starting 11 now. Slightly concerned he's playing well today! Could have done with him scoring an own goal and having a shocker.

When city bought Anderson I immediately wondered what might be coming our way from city, assumed Kovacic, but I really hope it's Reijnders

Just scored for City in a friendly

Given other comments, I could see the CM being Cheese Reindeers.

This is an interesting link and a big name.

But the sceptical part of me thinks that we are playing a few games here and using this to grease the wheels on other moves. great player, but the fee and wages would be a big risk.

That is absolutely what is happening and I'm surprised so many have fallen for it frankly.

Happy clappers is a w**ky term mate, it should be banned and left to the likes of twitter.

Also, maybe, just maybe, folks are not happy clappers and just get a bit bored of your misery guts views on all things forest, and so you make yourself an easy target. There is rarely, if ever, any balance in what you say.
My opinion is as valid as anyone else's. And that's all it is. I fully accept that my posts are normally negative - if things are hunky dory I don't feel the need to comment. Feel free to ignore them.

Instead of a swear jar at home, I have a negativity jar. Every time I post something negative on here I put 50p in. It's currently half empty....
