Hi guys, I am studying in Malaysia at the minute and cant get back for Christmas, so am having my Christmas at the end of January.

I get to come home once a year and it just so happens I'll be in town for Derby away................

If anyone has a realistic chance of getting a ticket and doesn't want to go for an insane reason could you PLEASE PLEASE consider me for it, Obviously I'll pay for it!

I understand that theres got to be plenty of people you'd give it to before some random internet forum guy! But this is my one chance a year and would really love to go for my late christmas present!!

How could you say no to this sad face?? -----> :( :( Just look at it...........................

I shall be making every effort to get a ticket too. Try bumping this thread again closer to the time and I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

Good luck. ;D

When Derby played at City Ground in August, their tickets made it to general sale for 3 days!

Can you imagine if our support was that shit??

They never give us many tickets either.

We have a smaller ground than them and offer 4,000 tickets yet they only give us 2,500.

They have to accommodate all the freebies and corporate whoring first.

Once I leave my door en route to Vegas, for all intents and purposes I'm already there. I'll be in Vegas mode, in a Vegas suit, I'll be in Vegas Baby!

Last season, the mean bastards only gave us 2,700. Demand for this game is going to be absolutely massive, far more than the league game last season.

I am an away member so I am pretty much guaranteed one 8) Cannot wait for this game!

Don't you have to have a season ticket to have the away membership though?

Yes you do.

I hate the away membership scheme, there's so many season ticket holders who go to every away game and yet when it comes to Derby, they have less priority than people who haven't been to a single away game all season.

Thats my gripe though,, i go to pretty much every away game (missed 2 so far but will not miss another one this season) but i had to pay £30 for this away membership so i wouldnt miss out on Derby or Newcastle away. Why should i have to pay £30 extra to get a ticket for these matches when i've been to all the others? Why cant they just allocate away tickets based on the number of away matches attended like they used to? After going to the likes of Swansea, Ipswich (on a tuesday night), Middlesborough and Cardiff (on a Sunday evening) it annoys me that people with money who didn't bother (and had no intention) of going to these games would have had priority over me had i not paid up my £30 for an upweighted priority. Nice money making scheme for the club i suppose :(

They'll probably have a '5 or more away games' priority for the Derby game. They did last year.

Agree with Eddie though. The away membership scheme is a very cynical ploy.

I am an away member, won't go to as many games as Eddie but will have done five by then so would be in the 'priority' group regardless.

With the possibilities of tracking people's purchasing it should be incredibly easy to track eligibility based on past purchasing behaviour - the number of tickets required to have been bought before could be determined based on the number of people in each 'bucket.

Instead, rather than using the information they already possess in this way, Forest instead flog a £30 "get your tickets a week early" scheme. It's pretty shit.

That's cos all their season ticket holders are just an assorted collection of mobile phone holders and BMW drivers :D

The away membership is well worth it.. but 30 quid is quite a lot for most ordinary people like myself! guarantees tickets for the 'big' few games of the yar.. also helps for playoff tickets etc if the need arises

The away membership is simply a cash making exercise by Forest, which is unfair to say the least. Tickets should be allocated on loyalty and matches attended than who is willing to shell out another £30 on top of their season ticket.

Don't forget though, that it was introduced following a petition submitted by this site, pledging to end queueing and bring in a priority system: http://www.ltlf.co.uk/news/04_06_17_stamps_victory.htm
