Thoughts on today

1. There's no point in playing Earnie up front on his own. His goal in midweek showed he needs someone to work with. He needs good service and that rarely happens when you have to play up front on your own.

2. Why did BD play (in essence) a five man midfield today? At home? Why? But we still managed to get caught out on the break for their goal.

3. BD had been talking about putting round pegs in round holes. Chris Cohen at right midfield, I think not.

4. I still don't think we've played our strongest team this season. Why Anderson was left out today only God knows. In the second half today it showed. Poor Gunter had to do the jobs of two men a lot of the time as we didn't have a wide right midfielder.

5. Can we just play 4-4-2 please?

6. No more kids for a quid. We always lose and I always get stuck next to halfwits and their stupid kids.

I blame my missus for today. I was going to wear the shirt that I had worn to all the games so far this season I've worn when we haven't lost (Reading and QPR away and the sheep at home) but she said "why don't you wear your new one?" I listened to her.
