Sounds like the same sort of thing to me. There will no longer be a "reserve" squad because there is nothing to train for each week there is no point in having a manager of the reserves either. Because there will be a few times when there are players who we haven't managed to send out on loan need to keep thier match fitness up they will arrange some behind closed door friendlies. Remember whilst the reserves were here there were still behind closed doors friendlies going on.

Good at the end of the article how he said that a lot of our young lads will be heading out on loan for 6 months to a season to lower league clubs.
