This club does itself no favours

Why is this club intent on driving away it's supporters.

1. What happened to the advance purchase discount for the derby match?

2. Why corden off exits from upper bridgford and funnel 2,500 people through two exits, -H&S risk i think?

3. Why do they employ people to harrass home supporters standing up when on numerous occassions our visitors constantly stand?

4. Why do they tease supporters with the text message service advertising in january, (be first to hear about any transfers etc...) when they leave it to the last minute to try and to their business without any success

5. How many snippets of songs do they try and play from about 15 mins to the start of the match -it's like a competition, name as many of those songs as possible.

I don't know, this club is in my blood, but some of it's practices just bemuse me.

By the way not sure if anyone heard this one, but they were proposing to charge £36 to watch Forest v Man Utd - Obviously very concious of the current climate, and the fact that it is on TV - Money grabbing is the word I would use!!!!

Well rant over, now Mr Arthur please leave the building (he may not make all these decisions but he's the figurehead off the pitch and has been here too long.

It would still have been good to see another full house at the CG against Manure.......... and get pumelled and have the Manure fans jumping up around you like the last time we played them mmmmmmmm.

well the £30 for the derby game has cost forest a ticket as I have only bought 1 this time around, it was to soon after paying £54 for my tickets for the replay, I'm just glad I finally have a new job so I can afford to start coming to more games again but not happy at paying £30 a ticket as often take the missus but at £60 a game that wont be happening often.

Couldn't believe on Sat when we heard the announcement for the ticket prices for the Derby game. I wonder what's the strategy behind all the ticket pricing etc? Surely to god someone must take note and do some analysis, our average is no better than last season, but we are playing against bigger teams every week (more expensive tickets I know), people without ST's ain't gonna pay the inflated prices are they. I'd rather see 25-26000 every week like Saturday or 29000 like last Weds than a poxy 21000. Not blaming any fans for not paying the prices, the club have again got it wrong in my opinion.

I'd like to see those sorts of attendances too, but then again I quite like seeing Mr. Earnshaw pull on his Forest shirt, and at almost £3m the money coming in has got to get near to the money going out unfortunately.

In an ideal there would be a salary cap ensuring that players wages didnt make it near impossible for clubs to function without either flirting with financial oblivion or having to turn to some dodgy fellow with a teatowell round his head for investment. That way ticket prices would surely be far more reasonable. Unfortunately the way things are our club cant afford not to squeeze every last penny out of the 20,000 hardcore fans that go, and as a fan of the club you can't dispute that really. Unless you're irrational, which most football supporters are.

Well I think this credit crunch will bring some rational thinking to our fan base :nowink:

just ironic that Mr Arthurs persists with these policies

And what makes this worse is that they queue all the folk in wheelchairs up by the lift next to the exit near the Brian Clough stand thus making the exit route even narrower and slower to get out!!!
