so if we do end up missing out on automatic and then loosing in the play offs, once the initial disappointment has gone just think of the positives for he next season.

1. we get to play and hopefully thrash derby twice next season
2. there will be also be a chance to upset the bin dippers a fair few times aswell.
3. there will be plenty of other big games where our rivalry will have grown over the last couple of years we have been out of the prem.
4. we will most probably go on another long unbeaten run and be up at the top half of the table.
5. we will actually see our side win games and not get ripped apart by the big guns in the prem.
6.billy will have had his extra year to develop the squad and make them ready for the premier just like he keeps telling us they need.
7.being in the championship it might make it less likely for us to build a new ground just yet.

and yes I know theres 10 games to go and it isnt other just yet, but atm its our home form thats keeping us going and we have to be realistic here and accept the fact that we will soon have a run of draws/losses at home so unless we start to pick points up away from home the play offs are our best hope and with such a young squad it could just be 3 matches to many.

Kicking off at 3.00pm on a Saturday afternoon most weekends.

If we do go up we'll never know from one month to the next when the matches are being played. Remember how upset some of us got when the Newcastle away match was moved? That will happen every other week if we go up.

season tickets will be affordable and not hiked up to some silly price.

victor chandler might offer another silly free season ticket offer.

we wont have to put up with allan hansen telling us how shit we are and have no place in the premier league each week.

the glory hunter fans wont be there to watch rooney and his pals ay most games.

If all of those things on your list were guaranteed then yes it would be all good no doubt. Whats to say that all these players we have wont up and leave culminating in us getting relegated back to league 1 and having to deal with the misery that comes with that again.

Your deluded. This is the best chance we have had of going up in years and yet again we have just about bottled it. And its Nottingham Bottlers, Nottingham Bottlers FC were by far the biggest load of bottlers you'll ever see.

Forest go into a downward spiral which critics put down to the clichéd 'play-off hangover'.

We still don't sign a left-back

Nigel loses patience with Billy and gives him the boot.

Oh.

Has anyone, ever, in the history of the world, really looked forward to going to Hull?

I went there with my Blackburn supporting mate, there was a good take away nearby, the game was good, and the Blackburn fans chanted "yer Mum's yer Dad, yer Dad's yer Mum, yer interbred, yer Yorkshire scum", which was piss funny.

So, yeah, I looked forward to a day out, a few beers and some football.

I'm told it's a relatively pleasant day out for the residents of Toxteth, Moss Side and Afghanistan.

I'd rather go back to Afghanistan its much nicer!

'Submarium' apparently, as a bit of it is under the river. Well, the land near the river. Hull's much better to live in than to visit, all the best bits are tucked away. That said I've never stayed so short a time in one place having moved there.

I was very underwhelmed with "The Deep" at Hull when I went the other year.

Plus it's in Hull.

Did you know Clive Sullivan was black?!
