1. Forest, if they do have the ambition to be a Premiership club again, are not prepared to fund that ambition outside of a very tight budget. They are not going to gamble the financial security of the club.

2. Cardiff are everything that Forest are not. lol

3. 95% of those who claim to know something actually know feck all lol
The other 5% tend to be a lot more discreet.

I think OTT said if Whittingham didn't sign, he'd stop posting and he has done.

Would be nice to hear if he's got any gossip about recent (non) developments, he got the Whittingham thing wrong but he got some good bits of info prior to that and obviously had a decent source.
 
I know some news - the training facilities on Wilford Lane are being upgraded starting tomorrow.
 
Is that the "spin" version of "they're mowing the grass in the morning" ?! lol

This summer I learnt that Forest and England are both crap and will always be a let down.

I've spent the last 15-20 years hoping that one day it will change. I have now finally realised that it never will. :'( :'(
 
Perhaps they have their eye on a couple of sensational loans, and all this talk of Whittingham and Pratley has been a diversion and they are saving the money to pay the wages of a couple of Premier League loan players....... ;)

Glad you posted this! The guy was obviously full of it! If he comes back to the forum he should put a NOT in front of his name!

Also remember him slagging capello off, saying he was a sports journo who only posted stuff the day before it hit the press! Maybe this is why capello left? Shame as he was the ONLY person who knew ANYTHING from within the club! God I miss him :(
 
He said we were looking at Bertrand ages before we got him to be fair, don't think he was trying to mislead us.
 
OTT definitely had a good source and those who think otherwise are either a bit thick or just jumping on the bandwagon here and looking for a scapegoat. He called a few things and before MA started shooting his mouth off OTT had 'called' the Whittingham deal. OK, he got that wrong, but who would have predicted Forest would not have signed him once MA had said his piece before the Burnley game? Not many. I'll admit I was quietly confident in that. OTT also added weight to the Bertrand rumour, of which when Bertrand had signed, if I remember correctly, there was a flurry of backtracking on here and people quick to excuse OTT for that. It's a shame he's not posting, as we might be a little (not completely) more in-the-know about the recent squandering/clusterf*** of not getting our two targets (Whittingham and Pratley)

These boards are all about gossip and inside information - something that OTT and others were greatly involved in. The joy for coming on here for a good while was to see what was happening at the club as certain people likely knew someone (who maybe knew someone else) that was at the club. Werther they were wrong or right they were certainly closer to goings on than me. Plonkers coming on here and slating people for discrepancies have spoilt it in many ways. He was always going to fluff up sooner or later but there's no need for the vitriol that some are generating. It is at the reader's discretion (and aptitude) whether or not to believe what is written. Fact is, something was better than nothing..

I dont know what that means, but I guess my source is not as reliable as expected. Maybe I should move to Vital.
